Associated Bank conducts a thorough background check on all new hires.\nRole SummaryAs a Financial Intelligence Analyst, you will help protect Associated Bank and its customers by identifying, investigating, and escalating potentially suspicious activity. You will analyze customer and transaction data, support regulatory compliance efforts, and contribute to the bank’s risk management strategy. This role offers opportunities to build expertise in financial crimes, investigations, compliance, and fraud prevention.\nPlease Note: We are hiring for multiple shifts\nMon - Fri 1st shift\nTues - Sat 1st shift\nMon - Fri 2nd shift\nKey Accountabilities\nInvestigate system-generated alerts, referrals, and customer activity to identify potential financial crimes risks.\nAnalyze customer and transaction data to detect unusual activity, emerging trends, and changes in risk profiles.\nEvaluate suspicious behaviors and make informed decisions on escalation, referral, or resolution actions.\nDocument investigative findings and prepare detailed case narratives to support compliance and reporting requirements.\nComplete regulatory reporting activities, including Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) when appropriate.\nPartner with internal teams to support investigations, address inquiries, and resolve complex issues.\nMonitor trends, compile metrics, and assist with reporting, testing, and process improvement initiatives.\nMaintain expertise in financial crimes, anti-money laundering (AML), and regulatory requirements through ongoing learning and development.\nEducation & Experience\nRequired\nAssociate degree in Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, Banking, Business, Law Enforcement, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\n1+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, audit, banking, financial services, law enforcement, or a related field.\nStrong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to communicate findings clearly and maintain detailed documentation.\nPreferred\n2+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, audit, banking, financial services, or a related field.\nCertified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification.\nCertified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification.\nExperience conducting investigations, regulatory reporting, or financial crime analysis.\nWhy You’ll Love Working Here\nAt Associated Bank, you'll be part of a collaborative team focused on protecting customers, managing risk, and supporting regulatory excellence.
