This role is responsible for designing, implementing, automating, monitoring, and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure in a secure and highly available financial environment. The ideal candidate combines networking expertise with strong scripting and infrastructure automation skills to improve operational efficiency, scalability, reliability, and compliance.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, implement, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure across branch, campus, data center, and cloud environments.\n\nDevelop and maintain network automation solutions using tools and technologies such as:\nAnsible\n\nPython\n\nBash\n\nTerraform\n\nPowerShell\n\nNetwork as Code (NaC)\n\nGitHub/Git workflows\n\nBuild and maintain reusable scripts, playbooks, workflows, and automation pipelines to streamline network provisioning, configuration management, compliance validation, and operational tasks.\n\nIntegrate network systems and tools through APIs and automation frameworks.\n\nConfigure, troubleshoot, and optimize routing, switching, firewall, and wireless infrastructure.\n\nMonitor network performance, availability, and capacity; proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact business operations.\n\nImplement infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and optimization strategies for high availability and performance.\n\nParticipate in network architecture planning, modernization initiatives, and infrastructure lifecycle management.\n\nCollaborate with cybersecurity, systems engineering, cloud, and application teams to ensure secure and efficient network operations.\n\nMaintain accurate technical documentation, standards, diagrams, procedures, and runbooks in Confluence.\n\nUtilize Jira to manage tasks, projects, change requests, sprint activities, and operational workflows.\n\nSupport change management, incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.\n\nEnsure network infrastructure adheres to banking security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.\n\nEducation & Experience\nAssociate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.\n\n2+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering or infrastructure operations.\n\nStrong understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols, including:\nTCP/IP\n\nBGP\n\nOSPF\n\nVLANs\n\nSTP\n\nDNS\n\nDHCP\n\nVPN technologies\n\nRouting and switching concepts\n\nHands-on experience with network automation and scripting using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Ansible.\n\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Network as Code methodologies.\n\nFamiliarity with Terraform and API integrations for infrastructure automation.\n\nExperience using GitHub or similar version control platforms for infrastructure and automation code management.\n\nPreferred\nExperience working in banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries.\n\nIndustry certifications such as:\nCCNA / CCNP\n\nNetwork+\n\nDevNet\n\nAWS/Azure networking certifications\n\nExperience with SD-WAN, cloud networking, or hybrid infrastructure environments.\n\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.\n\nExperience with firewall platforms and network security technologies.\n\nWhy You’ll Love Working Here\nYou’ll join a collaborative team where continuous learning, innovation, and professional growth are encouraged.
