This job may include working at heights and in confined spaces. It may be noisy and dusty at times.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nEssential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:\nOperate all feed manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently\nClean up receiving pits\nOrganizing audits\nClean up kitchen, bathrooms, breakrooms, and control rooms. \nMaintain traffic lanes visible. \nAssess and clean up production building roofs\nInspect safety equipment. \nInspect vehicles\nPerform necessary recording and documenting of all (waste) during shift\nMix and prepare livestock feeds efficiently and in a manner that assures accuracy and high quality\nClean all areas of the facility, including warehouse, plant and grounds\nUse powered industrial equipment to do detailed cleaning throughout the mill\nHazardous Waste Management: Properly handle and dispose of hazardous waste materials in compliance with local regulations.\nWaste Collection: Collect and dispose of garbage and recyclables from residential and commercial areas using sanitation vehicles and equipment.\nClean and power wash heavy equipment and trailers\nAssist with equipment maintenance and repairs as needed\nMaintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition\nFollow Company prescribed safety rules and regulations as well as other departmental policies and procedures\nOther duties may be assigned by a supervisor at any time\nWork in a team environment to achieve the production goals of the company\nRead and follow all Standard Operating Procedures\nPromote teamwork and effective production throughout each shift\nConsistently be on site and ready to start on time\nMaintain professional standards of work \nADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESPerform other duties and/or special projects as assigned\nQUALIFICATIONS\nSkills & Competencies:\nMethods and techniques for safe work practices\nMinimum Job Requirements, Experience and Training Guidelines:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent work experience \nOne (1) to two (2) years’ work experience in a warehouse/industrial/production environment\nWork varying shifts including weekends, holidays and overtime \n SPECIAL DEMANDSPhysical requirements:\nFrequent standing for long period of time\nFrequent bending, squatting and kneeling\nFrequent lifting and carrying of up to 75 pounds up to 100 feet\nFrequent grasping, holding and reaching\nConstant use of overall vision\nFrequent hearing and talking in person; may be required to wear ear protection or hear in noisy conditions\nFrequent co-worker contact; occasional working alone\nFrequent exposure to loud noise\nWorking conditions:Work may be performed inside or outside in hot and cool temperatures and a noisy environment. May be exposure to loud noises and steam exhaust, and dusty, muddy and slick environment.
