You are a technologist who has moved past the initial learning phase and is ready to take ownership of specific project modules while collaborating with senior team members on larger architectural goals.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nDevelop and implement technical solutions based on requirements while adhering to AWG standards with increasing autonomy.\n\nDeliver high-quality, bug-free code for assigned tasks on time and within budget.\n\nContribute to the building of reusable assets and technical materials that benefit the broader AWG developer community.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure seamless system integrations and high-quality delivery.\n\nActively participate in the full project scope and contribute to a continuous improvement mentality within the dev team.\n\nCollaborate with other developers and support engineers to understand system dependencies and integrations.\n\nTroubleshoot complex issues and develop fixes while participating in a shared on-call rotation.\n\nProvide accurate time and resource estimates for assigned project tasks.\n\nREQUIREMENTS:\nBachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related degree\n2-4 years of experience in business application development.\n1-4 years with Java and Spring/Spring Boot frameworks, including the ability to independently debug and enhance existing codebases.\n2-4 years working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.\nProficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and experience working with web services/APIs.\nA strong understanding of the full SDLC, particularly the development, testing, and deployment phases.\nAbility to learn and apply new technologies.\nStrong ability to diagnose technical barriers and articulate when further senior support is needed.\nAbility to work effectively within a cross-functional team, contributing unique perspectives to solve problems.\nProven ability to develop clear and timely change documentation for all development tasks.\nSeeks appropriate direction when things are unclear and responds productively to changing priorities.\nA self-starter who takes ownership of assignments and effectively communicates status to stakeholders.\nExcels in working remotely and collaborating with remote team members to solve problems.\nNICE TO HAVE/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nRetail, wholesale, or Consumer Product Goods industry experience\nDevelopment experience with Java batch (Jberet framework) to maintain and optimize background processes.\n\nExperience with file-transfer software such as Cleo Harmony.\n\nKnowledge of DevOps technologies (Jenkins, GitHub) to manage automated deployments and version control.\n\nAssociated Wholesale Grocers, Inc.
