The role ensures equipment availability, compliance with governing rules and standards, and smooth coordination between the company’s base, vessels, and offshore teams. The candidate will need to have broad technical knowledge in order to understand the equipment’s technical specifications, manufacturing, and repair/maintenance processes, while being able to plan and schedule related maintenance/repair works.\nResponsibilities\nEquipment & Vessel Technical Follow-Up\nMonitor operational status and progress of subsea trenchers, ROVs and related equipment.\nTrack vessel spreads’ open issues and corrective actions.\nSupport technical troubleshooting by liaising with company’s respective technical experts and offshore teams. \nConducts on-site checks and measurements.\nPossibility of traveling to employer sites (domestically and globally) as required to implement mobilizations/repairs.\nSpares Monitoring & Logistics\nIn collaboration with offshore teams, maintain accurate records of spare parts usage and stock levels, to ensure availability of critical components to avoid operational downtime.\nCoordinate shipments and logistics to/from vessels and worksites.\nOrdering using company’s ERP system (SAP) and respective follow up.\nTechnical Documentation & Compliance\nPlan accordingly, prepare and manage documentation required by clients or project governance (e.g., MWS, class societies, IMCA, etc.).\nIn collaboration with offshore teams, maintain all operational documentation, such as fault reports, short-form reports, maintenance logs, and configuration records.\nSupport the creation and updating of equipment technical dossiers and certification packages.\nData Collection & Preliminary Analysis\nCollect and maintain subsea equipment’s operational data from vessel and offshore teams’ reports.\nPerform preliminary analysis to identify trends, failures, or performance deviations.\nSupport root-cause investigations and technical evaluations.\nProcedures & Standards Development\nDraft and revise procedures, manuals, and work instructions.\nEnsure documentation aligns with governing rules, regulatory requirements, and internal standards.\nSupport audits and verification processes related to equipment readiness and maintenance.\nPlanning & Coordination of Works\nPlanning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance, mobilization/demobilization, and refurbishment works.\nLiaise with internal departments (engineering, operations, logistics) to ensure timely task execution.\nPrepare work scopes and follow up on progress until completion.\nQHSE\nAdheres to all compliance and auditing requirements for the conduct of ethical and transparent operations including compliance to all ASSO Group policies, guidelines and procedures.\nComplies with Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures and compliance with all audits and inspections.\nRequirements\nDegree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, etc.) such as one would receive at a university, technical trade school, etc.\n2 years of related engineering work experience.
