As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for the technical delivery of assigned tasks within a project or project phase, with a focus on adhering to client requirements and contractual obligations. You will also be involved in project execution onboard our vessels, ensuring compliance with approved documentation and corporate objectives.\nThe role demands technical knowledge and sound judgment to achieve successful project outcomes and contribute to Asso Group’s goals.\nResponsibilities\nBe responsible for the engineering, preparation and execution of the project;\nDevelop project documentation in compliance with Employer’s requirements, RQHSE standards and contract agreements such as:\nMethod statements etc\nInter-departmental liaison;\nSharing required information with other departments to produce the necessary project documentation/analysis such as:\nCable Installation Analysis, etc\nGeotechnical docs (Burial assessment study, etc.)\nReview engineering studies and documentation prepared from other departments according to project objectives;\nEnsure effective communication within the project team;\nParticipate and lead accordingly internal engineering meetings;\nLiaison with client;\nLiaison with subcontractors and manage the technical aspects ensuring technical delivery of their SoW according to the requirements;\nMaintain daily diary and action trackers for the effective monitoring of the project progress;\nParticipation in meetings with the Client remotely and face-to-face if required;\nAdapt information and comments derived from internal and client meetings, and accordingly study, review and prepare/update project documentation;\nJoin offshore team for the project execution as required\nWhen in offshore, among others:\nReceive and review of logbook notes and comments;\nPrepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR);\nParticipate in Vessel onboard meetings;\nRecord and prepare of Minutes of Meetings notes;\nClose communication with Client Representatives;\nProject monitoring on board the vessel as per schedules;\nKeep track of project progress ensuring deadlines are met;\nTake care of ad hoc needs;\nDaily communication with office project team;\nConstant communication with Offshore Manager & Supervisors;\nConstant communication with HSE advisor;\nClose cooperation with onboard survey team;\nReview survey data and project results on daily basis;\nSupport in Vessel HSE reports with technical information;\nPreparation of Management Of Change (MOC);\nPreparation of Field Reports;\nPrepare and finalize As-built documentation;\nEnsure that all project documentation is properly filled in company’s internal documentation management system;\nAdhere to all compliance and auditing requirements for the conduct of ethical and transparent operations including the compliance to all ASSO Group policies, guidelines and procedures;\nComply with Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures and compliance with all audits and inspections;\nRequirements\nEducation & Training\n A higher university degree in Engineering;\n Clear and effective oral and written communication skills in English language;\n Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project Scheduling and CAD software required;\n Additional working knowledge of other foreign languages, (e.g. Italian, German, French etc.) are not prerequisite but are to be considered as extra skills;\n Additional working knowledge of further engineering softwares such as Orcaflex, GIS are not prerequisite but are to be considered as extra skills;\n Experience\n1-3 years related engineering experience;\nBenefits\n Private Health Insurance\n Company Bus from central spots \n Fast-paced environment\n Specialization in a niche market\n Competitive compensation\n Continuous development opportunities\n This job description is intended to convey information essential to understand the scope of the job and the general nature and level of work performed by job holders within this job.
