We are seeking an experienced NationalLogistics Operations Manager to lead a high-performing logistics and warehousing operation based near Auckland Airport.
This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving service excellence, and leading a team of approximately 50 employees. The successful candidate will be a strong people leader with a passion for creating efficient processes, developing teams, and delivering exceptional operational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 50 team members across multiple sites
Manage day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations to ensure service, quality, and productivity targets are achieved.
Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor and analyse performance metrics to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and cost savings.
Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Manage workforce planning, resource allocation, and operational priorities.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Foster a positive, safety-focused, and high-performance team culture.
About You
Proven experience in a Logistics Manager, Warehouse Manager, Distribution Manager, or Operations Manager role.
Demonstrated success leading large operational teams of 40-50+ employees.
Strong background in logistics, warehousing, distribution, supply chain, or fulfilment operations.
Previous multisite experience is advantageous and willingness to travel as required.
Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
Experience driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
A hands-on leadership style with a focus on delivering results.
