We're seeking a Senior Solution Architect (AI) who is passionate about leveraging AI to accelerate the process of Solution Architecture design to deliver AI-centered solutions that enable software delivery, modernize enterprise technology platforms, and create innovative solutions that drive business outcomes.\nThis is a unique opportunity to influence enterprise-wide architecture strategy while designing AI-powered delivery pipelines, cloud solutions, and automation frameworks that enable teams to move faster and deliver greater value.\nWhat You'll Do\nAs a Senior Solutions Architect (AI), you will serve as a technology leader and trusted advisor, partnering with business and technology teams to architect scalable, secure, and AI-enabled solutions.\nDesign AI-Powered Solutions\nTranslate complex business requirements into scalable technology architectures.\nDesign AI-driven software delivery pipelines, automation frameworks, and cloud-native solutions.\nCreate architecture standards, reusable patterns, and AI-enabled tooling that accelerate development velocity.\nDevelop and implement automated architecture validation, governance, and compliance capabilities using tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, GitHub CLI, and similar AI technologies.\nDesign modern infrastructure platforms utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and cloud technologies.\nDrive Technology Leadership\nLead technical design efforts from concept through implementation.\nChampion AI adoption across architecture and engineering teams.\nGuide teams in applying architecture standards, automation practices, and cloud best practices.\nSupport troubleshooting and technical problem-solving throughout the SDLC.\nCollaborate with vendors, product teams, developers, and enterprise architects to ensure successful solution delivery.\nShape the Future of Enterprise Architecture\nAct as a leader to create a new, highly automated AI-driven end-to-end Solution Architecture workflow\nResearch emerging AI, cloud, and automation technologies.\nDevelop proof-of-concepts and evaluate new tools and platforms.\nInfluence enterprise architecture strategy and long-term technology direction.\nCreate best practices, reference architectures, and reusable AI-driven delivery frameworks.\nMentor and Enable Teams\nCoach architects and engineering teams on AI technologies and modern architecture practices.\nConduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance.\nPromote innovation through knowledge sharing and continuous learning.\nWhat You'll Bring\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).\n7+ years of experience across multiple technology disciplines such as cloud computing, application development, databases, middleware, networking, security, and enterprise platforms.\n3+ years of experience designing and implementing automated software solutions utilizing cloud or hybrid cloud technologies.\n2+ years of hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar technologies.\n2+ years of experience designing and implementing CI/CD and DevOps automation pipelines.\nExperience designing enterprise-scale cloud and application architectures.\nWillingness to travel up to 15%.\nPreferred Qualifications\nWe're particularly interested in candidates with experience in:\nExperience and vision around automating the Solution Design process in Claude Code, Github Copilot, Codex or similar tools.\nAI architecture, automation, and intelligent software delivery solutions.\nCloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and AWS.\nModern DevOps practices and CI/CD toolchains.\nInfrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform.\nAzure Foundry, Microsoft Fabric, Salesforce, and enterprise SaaS ecosystems.\nSecurity, authentication, authorization, and governance frameworks.\nAI implementation considerations including:\nModel selection and optimization\nToken management\nAgent-based architectures\nMCP frameworks\nAI governance and security\nAgile product delivery methodologies.\nAtlassian tools including Jira and Confluence.\nEnterprise integration and distributed systems design.\nSuccess in This Role\nYou are:\nAn innovative thinker who embraces AI-first problem solving.\nA strategic architect who balances speed, cost, scalability, and business value.\nA collaborative leader who influences without authority.\nPassionate about automation and continuous improvement.\nComfortable navigating both technical and business discussions.\nExcited to help shape the next generation of AI-driven software delivery.\nWhy Assurant?\nAt Assurant, you'll work alongside talented professionals who are redefining how technology supports business growth.
