Additionally, the Senior Technology Automation Engineer must participate in automation design reviews and assist with scoping and estimating implementation efforts.\nThis position will be based in Hyderabad/Bangalore at our India location.\nWhat will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?\nImplementing and maintaining automation product and component solutions through software development, system configuration, and peer code reviews (75%)\nStewarding the software and automation COE through automation product design review to ensure alignment to implementation intentions, reuse of existing components, and assessment of levels of effort (15%)\nProviding support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for issues affecting automation that is currently in production (10%)\nWhat are the requirements needed for this position?\nEducation\nA bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology, or another equivalent applicable STEM field.\nProfessional Experience\n8+ total years of professional working experience as an Automation, Cloud, DevOps, Software, or Systems engineer. This requirement can be met by combinations of experience in the specified IT engineering disciplines. The experience must encompass usage of the technologies listed in the Technology Skills requirement. \nTechnology Skills\nADO YAML pipelines and/or GitHub Actions pipelines with GitHub Workflows for both CI and CD.\nAPI Management technology such as Azure APIM or MuleSoft CloudHub for managing, publishing, and securing API endpoints. \nAzure cloud application and infrastructure hosting technologies such as App Services, Cosmos DB, Data Factory, Function Apps, Key Vaults, and SQL DB.\nC#. and/or Python based software development of backend APIs and console applications.\nCI pipeline development for linting, unit testing, static security scanning (SAST), and building code artifacts. \nCD pipeline development for integration testing, dynamic security scanning (DAST), code artifact promotion, environment releases, and infrastructure as code (IaC) deployment.\nCentralized identity management using Active Directory and EntraID users and groups.\nFederated identity management and provisioning using OpenID Connect (OIDC)\nGit based source code control using GitFlow, GitHub Flow, and/or GitOps branching strategies.\nREST and SOAP API creation, consumption, and maintenance\nPowerBI data dashboarding, reporting, and visualization\nPowerShell and bash shell scripting and software development\nSQL Server RDBMS skills for both DDL and DML.\nServiceNow Flow and Workflow developer experience. \nWhat other the Preferred Experience, Skills, and Knowledge required?\nEducation\nA master’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology, or another equivalent applicable STEM field.\nProfessional Experience\nPrior experience participating in a software COE\nTechnology Skills\nConfiguration management using Ansible and Ansible Tower\nDistributed identity management using SailPoint for managing Active Directory and EntraID users and groups.\nFederated identity management using Okta as an OIDC provider\nInfrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and TFC via CD pipeline\nCertifications\nServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or Certified Application Developer (CAD) certifications\nAzure AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals\nHelping People Thrive in a Connected World\nConnect with us.
