The engineer will work closely with product principals, outsourced service providers, vendors, and stakeholders to drive service delivery, technology refresh, cloud transformation, security compliance, and operational excellence.\nKey Responsibilities\nMicrosoft 365 & Exchange Online Administration\nAdminister and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Viva, Dynamics 365, Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Platform.\nManage Exchange Online environments, including mailbox administration, mail flow, transport rules, connectors, distribution groups, Microsoft 365 Groups, message tracing, SMTP relay, and hybrid deployments.\nLead or support Exchange Hybrid, mailbox migration, tenant-to-tenant migration, and technology refresh initiatives.\nManage service health monitoring, tenant administration, licensing, user lifecycle management, and Microsoft 365 operational support.\nIdentity & Access Management\nAdminister Microsoft Entra ID, including identity lifecycle management, hybrid identity, Entra Connect, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and identity governance.\nSupport synchronisation between on-premises Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, federation services, and hybrid identity architectures.\nImplement identity security controls aligned with Microsoft and industry best practices, including password protection, privileged access controls, and phishing-resistant authentication.\nSecurity, Compliance & Governance\nImplement and maintain Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Microsoft Purview, information protection, retention policies, eDiscovery, audit logging, anti-phishing controls, and email security policies.\nManage SPF, DKIM, DMARC, Safe Links, Safe Attachments, Exchange Online Protection (EOP), DLP, and security monitoring capabilities.\nEnsure operational processes comply with security, governance, risk, compliance, and organisational policies.\nSupport audits, security assessments, investigations, access reviews, and compliance reporting activities.\nAutomation & Engineering\nDevelop and maintain PowerShell and Microsoft Graph automation for provisioning, reporting, configuration management, and operational support.\nAutomate operational processes and reporting to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service reliability.\nPrepare and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and knowledge articles.\nCollaboration & Endpoint Services\nSupport administration and governance of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Intune-managed endpoints.\nManage device compliance, endpoint security, MDM/MAM, Windows Autopilot, and workplace productivity solutions.\nSupport modern workplace initiatives and adoption of Microsoft productivity platforms.\nInfrastructure Operations & Service Management\nMonitor service health, audit logs, capacity trends, messaging performance, and operational KPIs.\nTroubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure, messaging, identity, networking, and collaboration issues.\nManage incidents, problem management, change implementation, root cause analysis (RCA), service continuity, and business continuity activities.\nWork with vendors and service providers to ensure service levels, operational support, and project deliverables are achieved.\nRequirements\nDegree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.\nAt least 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID, or cloud infrastructure operations.\nHands-on experience in Exchange Online administration, Microsoft 365 tenant administration, hybrid Exchange environments, Microsoft Entra ID and identity management, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Intune administration, and security and compliance technologies within Microsoft 365.\nStrong understanding of DNS, SMTP, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, authentication and federation protocols, Exchange Hybrid architecture, and cloud security and zero trust principles.\nExperience with PowerShell scripting, automation, and Microsoft Graph APIs.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.\nExperience working in large-scale enterprise or government cloud environments is an advantage.\nPreferred Certifications\nMicrosoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert (MS-102)\nMicrosoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300)\nMicrosoft Certified: Security Administrator Associate (MS-500)\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)\nMicrosoft Certified: Security
