Product Strategy and Vision\nDefine and communicate the product vision, objectives, and desired outcomes in alignment with business requirements and/or mission.\nDevelop and maintain the product strategy and roadmap to guide the direction and evolution of the product.\nIdentify opportunities where products can address user needs, business/organisational challenges, or strategic objectives.\nDefine and monitor success metrics to evaluate whether the product is achieving its intended outcomes.\n2. User and Problem Discovery\nEngage users and stakeholders to understand their needs, pain points, workflows, and desired outcomes.\n Conduct or facilitate user research, interviews, feedback sessions, and other discovery activities to identify and validate problems worth solving.\n Validate assumptions and proposed solutions with users before and during product development. \n3. Product Prioritisation and Roadmap Management\nAssess and prioritise product opportunities, requirements, features, and improvements based on user value, organisational impact, strategic alignment, risk, and implementation effort.\nDevelop, maintain, and communicate the product roadmap based on agreed priorities and desired outcomes.\nMake product-level trade-offs when balancing competing user needs, stakeholder priorities, technical constraints, and available resources (e.g. time, money, and manpower.\n4. Cross-functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Management\nCollaborate with engineering, design, business, operations, security, and other relevant teams throughout the product lifecycle.\nProvide sufficient context and clarity to engineering and design teams on the problems to be solved and intended outcomes.\nCommunicate product direction, roadmap, progress, decisions, and trade-offs clearly to relevant stakeholders.\nFacilitate alignment between user needs, organisational objectives, and technical considerations when making product decisions.\n5. Product Delivery\nWork closely with engineering and design teams throughout product development to clarify requirements, identify risks early, and make timely product decisions.\nReview product increments and provide product-level feedback to ensure delivered capabilities address intended user needs and outcomes.\nCoordinate with relevant stakeholders to support product launches, user onboarding, communications, and adoption.\nIdentify and address product-related risks, dependencies, and issues that may affect successful delivery or adoption.\n6. Product Performance and Continuous Improvement\nDefine and monitor appropriate product metrics, including measures of user adoption, engagement, satisfaction, and product outcomes.\nAnalyse product usage, user feedback, and other relevant data to assess product performance.\nIdentify opportunities to improve the product based on evidence and learning form users.\nIncorporate insights and lessons learned into subsequent product priorities and roadmap decisions.\n7. Product Lifecycle Management\nManage the product across its lifecycle, from discovery and development through operation, enhancement, and eventual retirement.\nPeriodically assess whether the product continues to meet user needs and organisational objectives.\nRecommend whether products or capabilities should be enhanced, maintained, consolidated, replaced, or retired.\nEnsure appropriate transition and communication plans are established when significant product changes or retirement decisions are made.\nRequirements\n1. Product Management\nGood understanding of product management principles and practices, including product discovery, product strategy, roadmapping, prioritisation, delivery, and lifecycle management.\nAbility to identify and frame user problems and translate them into clear product opportunities and requirements.\nFamiliarity with product prioritisation techniques and the ability to make evidence-based trade-offs between competing priorities.\nAbility to define product outcomes and appropriate metrics for measuring product success.\n2. User Research and Analytical Skills\nAbility to conduct or facilitate user research and gather meaningful insights through interviews, whiteboarding sessions, feedback, and other discovery methods.\nAbility to synthesise qualitative and quantitative information to identify user needs, patterns, and opportunities.\nAbility to use product data, user feedback, and other evidence to support product decisions and prioritisation.\nStrong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to distinguish underlying problems and proposed solutions.\n3. Communication and Stakeholder Management\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate product concepts, priorities, and decisions clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.\nAbility to engage and manage stakeholders with differing needs, priorities, and perspectives.\nAbility to facilitate discussions and build alignment across multidisciplinary teams.\nAbility to communicate and justify product trade-offs and prioritisation decisions using evidence and clear rationale.\n4.
