This will be offered as a contract employment till 30 November 2028. The role is subjected to extension based on performance.\nYou will be working on:\nBe the DevOps Subject Matter Expert in the Engineering team by defining and evolving Build and Release best practices, ensuring the system compliance to the highest of standards and meeting the requirements for high availability, resiliency, scalability, and security throughout the DevOps lifecycle. \nProvide DevOps architecture implementation, operation support and documentation. \nParticipate in automation initiatives to streamline processes, improve efficiencies and reduce hosting cost. \nEnhance and drive automation delivery.\nParticipating in technical discussion with existing & potential clients and internal teams,\nParticipate in research and development to deliver complex on-premises solution\nMentoring and guiding junior team members, whilst fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement \nDevelop, operate, and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines, as well as centrally hosted components including system monitoring tools of performance, utilization, and health. \nSystem troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains. \nCollaborate with Product Owner, Platform Team, Solution Architects and development teams to design, develop, optimize, and implement scalable features for higher developer productivity, environment monitoring, self-healing, and autonomous delivery. \nRequirements\nTo succeed in this role, you will ideally have:\nProven experience as DevOps engineer with expertise in designing and implementing complex IaaS and DevOps solutions.\n5 years of experience in On-Prem ( preferred ) and Cloud platforms mainly on automation of Infrastructure configuration and management\nSound knowledge in DevOps development techniques, such as CI/CD and Agile, for both native and cloud applications\nProficient in building and managing highly available and scalable IT infrastructure, with knowledge on Container/Virtualization such as Kubernetes, version control tools such as Gitlab and Continuous integration and deployment tools such as Gitlab CI/CD, JFrog, XWiki, etc. \nProficiency with at least one of these languages: Python/PowerShell/Ruby/C#/Javascript\nDesign, implement and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code platforms with strong focus on Ansible for configuration management \nDeploy and manage monitoring tools of infrastructure performance, utilization, and health. \nExperience with patch maintenance, regression testing and security incident response. \nAbility to communicate complex interaction concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization\nKnowledge on coding and scripting to achieve Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), Infrastructure Automation\nHave the technical skill to review, verify and validate the software code developed in the project. \nExperienced in leading infrastructure procurement and implementation in government sector is an added advantage. \nAble to work independently and deliver results within specified deadlines\nShould have the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with users, vendors and management.\nDefine standards and processes for monitoring one or more multiple DevSecOps services\nJoin us and discover a meaningful and exciting career with Assurity Trusted Solutions!\nThe remuneration package will commensurate with your qualifications and experience.
