This role presents an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in vulnerability assessment and management whilst working with government systems.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop expertise in assessing and validating incoming vulnerability reports from security researchers, working closely with senior team members to determine severity and impact\nContribute to triage and root cause analysis of vulnerabilities under the guidance of experienced team members\nDocument findings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders\nAnalyse vulnerability trends and patterns within systems\nSupport the maintenance and development of APIs for integrating bug bounty platform, JIRA, and other external systems under supervision\nAssist with data cleansing processes and develop scripts for data transformation, gaining practical experience in data quality management\nRequirements\nOSCP certification or programming experience will be advantageous\nRecent graduate with a diploma or degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or related technical field\nInternship experience in IT security, software development, or related field (advantageous)\n Required Skills\nFundamental understanding of web application security and common vulnerabilities (OWASP)\nKnowledge of programming concepts and basic scripting capabilities\nEnthusiasm for learning new technologies and tools\nStrong analytical and problem-solving mindset\nExcellent communication skills and team collaboration abilities\nBasic understanding of API concepts and system integration\nPositive attitude and collaborative team spirit\nStrong commitment to supporting colleagues and contributing to a helpful work environment\nJoin us and discover a meaningful and exciting career with Assurity Trusted Solutions!\nThe remuneration package will commensurate with your qualifications and experience.
