The successful candidate will provide commercial and contractual expertise across the full project lifecycle, ensuring cost management, risk control, procurement support, and commercial governance on complex construction and engineering programmes.\nWorking within a multi-disciplinary project team, the postholder will play a key role in maintaining commercial performance, providing accurate forecasting, managing change, and supporting successful project delivery in a highly regulated environment.\nKey responsibilities included but not limited to:\nContract Administration for existing contracts, including performing, issuing or managing\nProvide commercial advice to the Contract Leads\nEnsure that all contract timelines are being met by the project team (management of CEMAR)\nApplications for Payment\nGeneral communications under the contract\nProgramme submissions, where required\nForecast submissions\nChange Management\nEarly warnings\nBid support for new call off contracts\nCost Control\nReporting\nSupport weekly and monthly progress meetings\nLiaise with the client CEMAR Supervisor\nLiaise with the client on Learning from Experience\nInterfaces:\nInterface with Contract Leads, Finance, Cost engineering and project controls functions\nInterface with the client and Project Managers\n Qualification, Special Skills or Experience:\nMust have strong NEC contract experience, preferably NEC4 Professional Services\nProficient in Microsoft Excel to at least intermediate level\nIdeally degreed qualified in Quantity Surveying\nAble to manage and prioritise competing priorities\nWorking to high levels of accuracy and contract compliance\nIdeally prior CEMAR experience\nSecurity Clearance will need to be attained for this role\n NOTICE TO CANDIDATES ON RECRUITMENT FRAUD - We are committed to safeguarding candidates from fraudulent activity associated with our recruitment process.
