With over 60 years of experience in highly regulated sectors, the group supports public and industrial stakeholders in the execution of complex and strategic infrastructure projects, subject to high safety and security requirements.\nAssystem mobilizes 8,000 experts in 13 countries and intervenes across the entire project lifecycle, in engineering, project management and digital solutions.\n Join Assystem as a Configuration Engineer on a major nuclear project, where you will provide expert technical support and oversight in relation to configuration matters, directly to teams performing secondary steelwork (SSW) design replication.\nSupporting the development and implementation of the operational and strategic vision required for the successful delivery of SSW replication.\nOverseeing adherence to the SSW replication Terms of Reference, including identifying and addressing training needs for new and existing team members relating to configuration activities and the SSW replication sequence.\nOverseeing and guiding the approach adopted by the SSW Team for the continuous monitoring of post-EDR SSW design deliverables, configuration items and site-originated design changes.\nApplying knowledge of the replication process relevant to the SSW scope to identify opportunities, gaps and areas requiring further development.\nIdentifying key interfaces with other disciplines and the wider project stakeholder network, including understanding and managing the nature of these interfaces.\nManaging Open Points and potential design changes.\n Essential:\nAn engineering degree in a relevant subject.\nPrevious experience in a Configuration Engineer role. Ideally, this role would be associated with the configuration management of the steelwork design.\nProven experience in a complex self-delivery environment.\nThe ability to make independent decisions which are supported by a sound and reasonable situational analysis.\nDemonstrable experience in both operational planning, and in working to achieve the success of such plans i.e. a track record of success in operational delivery of suitable outcomes.\nConfidence when presenting to an experienced and wide-ranging stakeholder group, and in communicating key topics and their operational impact with respect to the perspectives of these stakeholders.\nA working knowledge of the requirements of CDM 2015.\n Desirable:\nKnowledge / Understanding of PWRs.\nExperience in the nuclear sector and plant layout engineering.\nExperience of working in a highly regulated environment.\n Join us at Assystem and be part of a global team delivering some of the most exciting and complex engineering projects in the world.
