With 8,000 experts across 13 countries, Assystem supports the development of low-carbon energy.\nFor company profile, please visit the website :- https://assystem-india.com/\n Job Title\nELV / ICT Engineer\nDepartment\nMEP Engineering / Building Services\nReports To\nELV/ICT Sr Engineer/Lead /Assitant Manager / Design Manager\nJob Purpose\nThe ELV / ICT Engineer shall be responsible for the design, coordination, and documentation of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) and Information & Communication Technology (ICT) systems as part of MEP consultancy services, ensuring compliance with project requirements, local codes, international standards, and client specifications.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign & Engineering\nPrepare concept, schematic, detailed design, and tender drawings for ELV/ICT systems, including:\nStructured Cabling Systems (SCS - copper & fiber)\n\nData & Voice Networks\n\nCCTV & Video Surveillance\n\nAccess Control Systems\n\nIntrusion Detection / Burglar Alarm\n\nPublic Address & Voice Alarm (PA/VA)\n\nIPTV / SMATV / MATV\n\nBuilding Management System (BMS) interfaces\n\nAudio-Visual (AV) systems\n\nIntercom & Parking Management Systems\n\nAirport systems and integration\n\nDevelop system architectures, riser diagrams, layouts, schematics, and single-line diagrams.\n\nPerform load calculations, bandwidth calculations, and equipment sizing.\n\nSelect appropriate equipment in line with project specifications, standards, and budget.\n\nStandards & Compliance\nEnsure designs comply with:\nLocal authority regulations\n\nInternational standards (TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC, IEC, NFPA, BS, EN)\n\nClient and operator requirements\n\nCoordinate approvals with relevant authorities and stakeholders.\n\nCoordination\nCoordinate ELV/ICT designs with:\nElectrical, Mechanical, and Architectural disciplines\n\nIT, Security, and AV specialists\n\nBIM and CAD teams\n\nResolve clashes and ensure integrated MEP design delivery.\n\nDocumentation & Deliverables\nPrepare:\nDesign reports\n\nTechnical specifications\n\nBill of Quantities (BOQ)\n\nCost estimates\n\nTender and IFC documentation\n\nReview shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements during construction phase.\n\nSupport site teams with technical clarifications and design revisions.\n\nConstruction & Commissioning Support\nProvide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning.\n\nAttend design coordination and site meetings.\n\nReview as-built drawings and system documentation.\n\nSoftware & Tools\nAutoCAD / Revit (BIM preferred)\n\nMS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)\n\nELV design tools (e.g., cable calculation, network planning tools - advantage)\n\nExperience\n4-10 years of experience in ELV/ICT design within MEP consultancy or contracting\n\nExperience in Airports, metro, Railways and ports\n\nData center or mission-critical project experience is a plus\n\nSkills & Competencies\nStrong understanding of ELV & ICT systems and integration\n\nKnowledge of MEP coordination processes\n\nAbility to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings\n\nGood communication and coordination skills\n\nTime management and ability to handle multiple projects\n\nProblem-solving and attention to detail\n\nPreferred Attributes\nExperience working in multidisciplinary design teams\n\nFamiliarity with authority submission procedures\n\nExposure to BIM-based design workflows\n\nQualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunication Engineering\n\n We are committed to equal treatment of candidates and promote, as well as foster all forms of diversity within our company.
