Assystem Safety & Risk delivers an integrated and cost-effective service that includes Safety Case, Human & Organisational Factors (HOF), Risk & Reliability (Including Probabilistic Safety Assessment), Security & Resilience, and Process Safety.\nWe use deterministic and probabilistic techniques to help our clients to assess the risk associated with facilities and activities and confirm that risks are reduced to a level that is As Low as Reasonably Practicable (ALARP).\n Location: Bengaluru / Delhi\nRole Summary\nLead hydrology, stormwater, flood risk, and drainage projects across infrastructure, transportation, urban development, and water resources. Manage multidisciplinary teams, ensure technical excellence, and deliver projects on time and within budget.\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Leadership: Direct hydrology & drainage studies, stormwater/flood risk assessments, watershed analysis, and hydraulic modeling. Review designs for drainage networks, culverts, ponds, channels, SuDS/LID.\nProject Management: Oversee proposals to completion, manage schedules, budgets, risks, and coordinate with civil, highways, water, GIS, and structures teams.\nTeam Leadership: Mentor engineers/modelers, allocate resources, conduct reviews, and support recruitment.\nModeling Expertise: Guide use of InfoWorks ICM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, MIKE11/21, Civil 3D, ArcGIS.\nClient Engagement: Act as primary contact, present findings, build relationships, and support business development.\n Quality & Compliance: Ensure standards, QA/QC, safety, and environmental compliance.\nKPIs\nOn-time, on-budget delivery\nTechnical quality & compliance\nClient satisfaction\nTeam growth & utilization\nProposal success & revenue targets\nReporting\nReports to: Department Manager / Director - Water Infrastructure Direct reports: Hydrology Engineers, Drainage Engineers, Modelers, CAD/BIM Designers, Graduates\n Bachelor’s in Civil/Water/Environmental Engineering, Hydrology (Master’s preferred).\n10-15+ years in hydrology/drainage; 3-5 years in leadership/project management.\nStrong knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater, flood risk, watershed analysis.\nAdvanced modeling software skills; GIS & Civil 3D proficiency.\nPreferred certifications: PE, CEng, PMP, CIWEM.\n Based on candidate, location can be Bengalore/Gurgaon\nWe are committed to equal treatment of candidates and promote, as well as foster all forms of diversity within our company.
