With 8,000 experts across 13 countries, Assystem supports the development of low-carbon energy.\n**GIS Specialist Responsibilities:**\nDesign, develop, and maintain Geographic Information Systems (GIS) databases and spatial data infrastructure for water resources management and analysis\nConduct remote sensing data acquisition, processing, and analysis using advanced geospatial technologies and software platforms\nPerform hydrologic modeling and analysis using GIS tools to support water resource planning and decision-making\nOperate and manage drone-based mapping systems to collect high-resolution spatial data for hydrological surveys and monitoring\nCreate and produce professional cartographic outputs, maps, and spatial visualizations for stakeholder presentations and technical reports\nEnsure data quality assurance and validation protocols are maintained across all GIS projects and spatial datasets\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hydrologists, engineers, and environmental scientists to integrate GIS solutions into project workflows\nProvide technical support and training to team members on GIS software, methodologies, and best practices\nStay current with emerging geospatial technologies, remote sensing applications, and industry standards relevant to water resources management\n **Required Qualifications:**\nMaster's degree in GIS, Remote Sensing, Geoinformatics, or related field\nMinimum 12 years of total professional experience in geospatial sciences\nMinimum 8 years of specialized experience in Remote Sensing and GIS applications for water resources\nDemonstrated expertise in hydrologic mapping and analysis\nProficiency with drone-based mapping technologies and data collection methods\nAge 45 years or younger\n We are committed to equal treatment of candidates and promote, as well as foster all forms of diversity within our company.
