We’re Hiring: Junior Cost Engineer - Assystem
Join Assystem’s growing Energy & Infrastructure team and support the successful delivery of projects through effective cost control, reporting and project coordination.
Cost Control: Assist with budgets, forecasts, cash flow, expenditure tracking, cost reports and Earned Value Analysis.
Project Coordination: Monitor costs, timesheets, purchase orders, invoices, commitments and payments while identifying variances and supporting accurate financial reporting.
Teamwork: Collaborate with Project Managers, Cost Engineers, finance teams, suppliers and contractors to resolve queries and keep projects on track.
Administration: Maintain accurate project records, prepare reports and documentation, improve processes, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience
A qualification in Business, Finance, Project Controls or Engineering (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
Some experience in cost estimating, ideally within an engineering environment.
Strong IT skills, particularly Excel, with experience using spreadsheets, cost models and reporting tools.
