are looking for an experienced Planner to join our team and support the successful planning and delivery of projects across the energy, power and infrastructure sectors.\nThe successful candidate will have experience in project planning within the power, utilities, energy or infrastructure environment, ideally with exposure to grid connections, power supply or electrical infrastructure.\nWorking closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Contractors and other project stakeholders, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project programmes, monitoring progress and supporting the wider project team in delivering projects safely, efficiently and to programme.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain detailed project programmes in line with project requirements and delivery objectives.\n\nSupport the preparation of project schedules covering design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning and handover activities.\n\nWork closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Commercial teams and Contractors to ensure programmes remain accurate and achievable.\n\nMonitor progress against agreed programmes and provide regular updates to the project team.\n\nIdentify programme risks, delays, dependencies and potential areas of concern.\n\nSupport the development of mitigation and recovery plans where programme slippage occurs.\n\nAssist with the management of project interfaces and dependencies between contractors, suppliers, engineering teams and other stakeholders.\n\nReview contractor and supplier programmes and ensure activities are appropriately reflected within the overall project programme.\n\nMaintain programme baselines, milestones, critical path activities and progress information.\n\nPrepare regular programme reports and provide clear commentary on project progress.\n\nSupport project meetings by providing programme updates, key milestones and upcoming activities.\n\nAssist with change control and assess the programme impact of project changes.\n\nContribute to project risk and opportunity management from a planning perspective.\n\nSupport continuous improvement of planning processes, systems and reporting.\n\nAbout You\nWe are looking for a proactive and organised Planner who is keen to develop their career within the energy and infrastructure sector.\nYou will ideally have:\nExperience working as a Planner, Project Planner or Assistant Planner within the energy, power, utilities, construction or infrastructure sectors.\n\nExposure to grid connections, power supply, electrical infrastructure or related projects.\n\nExperience developing and maintaining project programmes.\n\nGood understanding of project planning principles, including sequencing, dependencies, milestones and critical path.\n\nExperience using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or similar planning software.\n\nAbility to monitor progress and identify potential programme risks and delays.\n\nGood understanding of project delivery from design and procurement through to construction and commissioning.\n\nStrong analytical and organisational skills.\n\nGood communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nA proactive approach to identifying issues and supporting the project team in resolving them.\n\nThe ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple activities across a busy project environment.\n\nDesirable Experience\nExperience or knowledge in one or more of the following would be advantageous:\nElectricity transmission or distribution networks.\n\nGrid connection projects.\n\nSubstations and HV infrastructure.\n\nPower generation or energy storage.\n\nRenewable energy projects.\n\nData centre power infrastructure.\n\nUtility infrastructure and network upgrades.\n\nHV/MV/LV electrical systems.\n\nCommissioning and energisation activities.\n\nWorking with DNOs, TSOs, network operators or utility
