With 8,000 experts across 13 countries, Assystem supports the development of low-carbon energy.\n Join Assystem's transformation programme as a Senior SAP BTP Developer and play a key role in delivering innovative cloud-native solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).\nAs a senior hands-on developer, you will serve as the technical authority for SAP BTP within the delivery team, working under the guidance of the ATP Technical Authority. You will actively contribute to solution architecture, application development, system integration, and technical delivery while ensuring adherence to SAP best practices, including Clean Core, Side-by-Side Extensibility, and an API-First approach.\nKey Responsibilities\nHands-on Architecture & Development\nDesign, develop, and implement SAP BTP extensions using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) with Node.js and/or Java.\nDevelop cloud-native applications following SAP Clean Core and Side-by-Side Extensibility principles.\nDesign and implement RESTful and OData APIs.\nBuild event-driven applications and integrations using SAP BTP services.\nDevelop SAP Fiori/UI5 applications where required.\nAnalyse, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.\nEnsure applications are secure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.\nTechnical Leadership\nProvide technical leadership within the development team.\nPerform code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards and best practices.\nSupport solution design and technical decision-making.\nMentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing within the team.\nEnsure alignment with SAP architecture guidelines and development standards.\nIntegration (Nice to have)\nDevelop integrations using SAP Integration Suite, including Cloud Integration (CPI) and API Management.\nDesign secure, scalable, and reusable interfaces between SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and third-party applications.\nSupport API-first integration strategies and event-driven architectures.\nDelivery & DevOps\nContribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.\nEnsure solution quality through testing, validation, and performance optimization.\nParticipate actively in integration testing, user acceptance testing, and production deployments.\nSupport release management and continuous improvement initiatives.\nSoft Skills\nStrong ownership mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nPragmatic, solution-oriented approach to technical challenges.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and functional stakeholders.\nAbility to work effectively in an international, multicultural environment.\nAbility to balance hands-on development with technical leadership responsibilities.\nPassion for mentoring and sharing technical knowledge.\nQualifications\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.\n5 - 7 years of experience as a SAP BTP Developer or similar technical role.\nStrong experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud extension development.\nExperience designing, developing, and leading enterprise cloud solutions.\nFluent English is mandatory due to daily collaboration with international teams.\n We are committed to equal treatment of candidates and promote, as well as foster all forms of diversity within our company.
