Assystem is a French engineering group founded in 1966 that concentrates on complex infrastructure projects, with nuclear energy as its largest and most distinctive market. It provides design engineering, project management, safety analysis, commissioning support and operational assistance across nuclear new build, plant life extension and decommissioning, and also works on transport, energy transmission and life sciences facilities. Headquartered near Paris and listed on Euronext, it holds a significant stake in Framatome and employs thousands of engineers across France, the United Kingdom, the Middle East and Asia.

Today, Assystem is among the top three independent nuclear engineering firms worldwide. With over 60 years of experience in highly regulated sectors, the group supports public and industrial stakeholders in the execution of complex and strategic infrastructure projects, subject to high safety and security requirements.
