Our engineers and space scientists are on a mission to eliminate the connectivity gaps faced by today’s five billion mobile subscribers and finally bring broadband to the billions who remain unconnected.\nPosition Overview\nWe are seeking a End -To- End Telco Engineer to ensure end-to-end service stability and performance across satellite-to-mobile services by diagnosing and resolving cross-domain issues spanning satellite, RAN, core, transport, and OSS layers. Operating within the Service Assurance organization, this role serves as the technical authority for multi-domain incident analysis, working closely with PSC Agents, NOC Telco Engineers, and Managed Services teams to restore service, validate service flows, and ensure compliant end-to-end connectivity during launch, early-life support, and steady-state operations. This role is critical to maintaining end-to-end service integrity for satellite-to-mobile communications, ensuring that incidents are not only resolved but fully understood across domains, enabling reliable service delivery, customer confidence, and scalable global operations. \nKey Responsibilities:\nAnalyze service degradation or outages across multiple network domains, including satellite payload, RAN, gateway, core network, transport, and OSS.\nAssess customer and service impact from an end-to-end perspective, identifying cross-domain dependencies and failure points.\nCorrelate alarms, KPIs, logs, and incident timelines to determine end-to-end service behavior.\nLead technical troubleshooting for complex incidents requiring multi-domain coordination.\nIdentify root causes spanning more than one network domain and guide corrective actions.\nValidate fixes and mitigations to ensure full end-to-end service restoration, not partial recovery.\nWork closely with AST NOC Telco Engineers and Nokia Managed Services NOC Engineers to guide triage, troubleshooting depth, and escalation decisions.\nProvide technical direction to PSC Agents for accurate customer updates and incident status.\nParticipate in major incident bridges, restoration reviews, and technical war rooms as required.\nValidate end-to-end service flows, including attach, session establishment, mobility, throughput, and persistence.\nEnsure service performance meets defined SLA, KPI, and regulatory requirements.\nSupport acceptance of restored services before formal incident closure.\nContribute to incident RCA inputs, end-to-end failure analysis, and service improvement recommendations.\nMaintain technical documentation related to service flows, dependencies, and known failure scenarios.\nSupport Service Assurance governance processes, audits, and operational readiness reviews.\nProduce end-to-end incident analysis and troubleshooting inputs, service restoration validation and acceptance confirmation, RCA technical contributions and improvement recommendations, and documentation supporting service stability, audit readiness, and operational maturity. \nQualifications \nEducation:\nBachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.\nExperience:\n5-8 years of experience in telecom operations, service assurance, NOC engineering, or network troubleshooting roles.\nProven experience troubleshooting cross-domain issues in mobile, satellite, or hybrid telecom environments.\nStrong understanding of end-to-end telecom architecture covering RAN, core, transport, OSS, and satellite systems.\nHands-on experience analyzing KPIs, alarms, logs, and traces across multiple domains.\nKnowledge of signaling, session management, mobility, and service continuity concepts.\nAbility to reason across system boundaries rather than isolated components. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nAdvanced telecom or networking certifications.\nExperience supporting 4G/5G, NTN, satellite-integrated networks, or carrier-grade services. \nSoft Skills:\nStrong analytical and problem-solving mindset with an end-to-end perspective.\nExcellent communication skills to translate complex technical findings into actionable guidance.\nAbility to operate calmly and decisively during high-severity incidents.\nStrong collaboration skills across Service Assurance, NOC, Managed Services, and engineering teams. \nTechnology Stack:\nOSS/NMS platforms and monitoring dashboards.\nITSM and incident management tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira Service Management, or equivalent).\nKPI visualization and analysis tools (Grafana, Power BI, or similar).\nLog analysis and diagnostic tools across RAN, core, and transport layers. \nPhysical Requirements \nAbility to lift up to 25 lbs.\nAbility to use a computer for extended periods.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced operational environment, including on-call or extended incident support when required.\nAbility to support global operations across time zones during major incidents or launch phases.\nThis job description may not be inclusive to the duties and responsibilities listed.
