Our engineers and space scientists are on a mission to eliminate the connectivity gaps faced by today’s five billion mobile subscribers and finally bring broadband to the billions who remain unconnected.\nSummary: \nThe Buyer is responsible for assisting in the selection and purchasing of quality products at our Production facility in Midland, TX from a group of suppliers globally and or domestic along with the On time delivery of such goods.\nDuties and Responsibilities: \nBuying direct material parts from global suppliers\nNegotiating pricing and terms with suppliers\nProviding buying benefits such as savings, better lead times, terms, when buying parts\nAssurance of supply on timely matter, following thru from ordering to delivery\nTransacting and Placing Purchase Orders for Direct Material Needs in our Netsuite System\nMaintaining records and estimated dates for deliveries in the system Netsuite\nKeeping Supplier and parts attributes in Netsuite up to date\nOwning Supplier Leadtimes and working on improving them.\nOwning Procrument-Receiving issues and disputed items resolution process for buy\nResolving Supplier Accounts Payable disputes\nAssist in maintaining current inventory. \nAssists in research, analysis, and forecasting of current and future buying trends, and products. \nMaintains relationships with assigned wholesalers, vendors, and suppliers. \nAssists in negotiation of contracts with select wholesalers, vendors, and suppliers. \nAssigned to projects to support procurement of goods and services. \nPotential assignments to assist commodities to manage procurement and inventory levels. \nMaintaining healthy commercial relationships with suppliers\nMaintains relationships with internal customers. \nClear reporting of progress and expected deliveries. \nInfrequent travel may be required. \nPerforms other related duties as assigned. \nMinimum Qualifications: \nBachelors degree required in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field. \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills. \nProficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, NetSuite or related software. \nAbility to compile information and data to make decisions. \nAbility to work under pressure and to problem solving,\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail. \nFluent in English. \nPreferred Qualifications: \nExperience with ERPs. Purchasing Modules a must.\nExperience negotiating supply chain contracts. \n3 years of relevant experience for Senior Buyer level. \nThis job description may not be inclusive to the duties and responsibilities listed.
