This role is responsible for integrating complex hardware and software systems and executing comprehensive system-level testing to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with technical requirements. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrives in highly technical, cross-functional environments.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPlan and execute system integration and testing activities for advanced communications platforms\nPerform hands-on integration of hardware and software subsystems, identifying and resolving interface and performance issues\nCollaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define integration requirements and address technical challenges\nConduct system-level testing in controlled lab environments as well as field or over-the-air testing scenarios\nAnalyze test results and provide clear documentation, reports, and actionable recommendations\nTrack and communicate integration progress and status updates to stakeholders\nDevelop and maintain automated test scripts and procedures to improve testing efficiency and coverage\nSupport system verification, validation, and acceptance testing efforts \nQualifications \nEducation:\nBachelor’s in electrical or computer engineering with an emphasis in RF/microwave, communications systems, or telecommunications (M.S. a plus, not required)\nCoursework in RF/microwave circuit design, antenna theory, digital/analog communications, signal processing (DSP), and electromagnetics\nExperience:\nA minimum of 0-3 years of experience in communications or RF systems \nPreferred Qualifications:\nRF/Communications or Telecommunications experience\nHands-on experience with spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, power meters\nExperience with arbitrary waveform generators and signal injection techniques\nFamiliarity with modulation/demodulation schemes (QPSK, etc) and link budget analysis\nWorking knowledge of 4G LTE and 5G architectures including Core and RAN functions\nExposure to telecom test equipment (Keysight, Anritsu, etc)\nUnderstanding of over-the-air (OTA) test methodologies and RF link characterization\nLab based hardware integration (bench assembly, cabling, harnessing)\nTest procedure development, execution, and reporting\nRoot cause analysis and anomaly resolution/troubleshooting\nEligibility to obtain or maintain a security clearance (if required) \nSoft Skills:\nStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse engineering teams\nProven ability to troubleshoot complex problems and think critically under pressure\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and reporting\nMeticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in testing and reporting deliverables\nStrong organizational and time management skills in fast-paced environments \nTechnology Stack:\nProgramming and analysis tools such as Python, MATLAB, or similar\nTest and measurement equipment for system validation\nAutomation tools or scripting frameworks for test execution\nData analysis and reporting tools\nGeneral engineering design and collaboration platforms \nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to work in a standard office, lab, or testing environment\nAbility to operate a computer and technical equipment for extended periods\nMay require occasional lifting of light equipment or working in specialized test environments\nAdditional Requirements\nDue to the nature of this role and applicable federal regulations, U.S. citizenship is required. \nThis job description may not be inclusive to the duties and responsibilities listed.
