This role is responsible for ensuring employees are trained to perform safely, efficiently, and in compliance with aerospace, quality, inventory control, and regulatory requirements.\nThe Warehouse Training Manager will play a critical role in supporting AST SpaceMobile's rapid manufacturing growth by developing a skilled workforce capable of handling high-value aerospace components, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting uninterrupted production operations. The position will partner closely with Warehouse Operations, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS, and Human Resources teams to establish world-class training standards and continuous learning programs.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and implement standardized warehouse training programs across all shifts and facilities.\nEstablish onboarding and certification programs for warehouse associates, material handlers, inventory specialists, leads, and supervisors.\nCreate training matrices and qualification requirements for all warehouse functions.\nEnsure employees complete required training prior to operating equipment or performing critical tasks.\nManage annual recertification and refresher training programs.\nTrain employees on receiving, put-away, storage, inventory control, cycle counting, kitting, shipping, and material movement processes.\nDevelop standard work instructions and training documentation for warehouse activities.\nEnsure compliance with FIFO, FEFO, lot traceability, and inventory management requirements.\nSupport implementation of warehouse best practices and standardized workflows.\nDevelop hands-on training exercises for safe handling of aerospace hardware and sensitive materials.\nMaintain operator qualification records and certification databases.\nSupport audit readiness and corrective action training initiatives.\nPromote a culture of safety and operational excellence.\nMaintain accurate training records and certification documentation.\nDevelop dashboards and reports for training completion, qualification status, and compliance metrics.\nEnsure training records meet internal and regulatory requirements.\nPrepare reports for leadership regarding workforce readiness and training effectiveness\nQualifications\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.\nEquivalent combination of education and relevant operational leadership experience may be considered.\nExperience\n7+ years of experience in warehouse operations, supply chain management, logistics, or manufacturing operations.\n3+ years of leadership experience managing warehouses, receiving, or distribution teams.\nStrong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and material handling processes.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working within aerospace, satellite manufacturing, automotive, advanced manufacturing, or high-volume industrial production environments.\nExperience supporting lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives.\nExperience with ESD/FOD controls and aerospace quality systems.\nExperience implementing Learning Management Systems (LMS).\nSoft Skills\nStrong leadership and team development capabilities.\nExcellent organizational and operational planning skills.\nAbility to manage multiple sites and competing operational priorities simultaneously.\nStrong problem-solving and process improvement mindset.\nExcellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.\nAbility to operate effectively in fast-paced, rapidly scaling manufacturing environments.\nTechnology Stack\nERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or equivalent)\nWarehouse Management Systems (WMS)\nInventory management platforms\nMicrosoft Excel (advanced reporting and analysis)\nMicrosoft Teams and Office Suite\nBarcode scanning and inventory tracking systems\nReporting and KPI dashboard tools\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to work in warehouse, manufacturing, and industrial operational environments.\nAbility to regularly walk warehouse floors and oversee receiving dock operations.\ninfrastructure.\nAbility to travel periodically between operational sites as required.\nAbility to work in fast-paced production and industrial environments with varying operational demands.\nAST SpaceMobile is an Equal Opportunity, at will Employer;
