Our engineers and space scientists are on a mission to eliminate the connectivity gaps faced by today’s five billion mobile subscribers and finally bring broadband to the billions who remain unconnected. \n Position Overview \nAST SpaceMobile is seeking a Driver to support manufacturing and warehouse operations by safely receiving, transporting, storing, staging, and delivering materials throughout the production environment. This position is responsible for maintaining material flow, inventory accuracy, and warehouse organization to ensure uninterrupted production operations. The Driver works closely with Production Control, Warehouse, Inventory Control, and Production teams to ensure materials are available where and when needed.\nBase Pay is $20\nShift Schedules\n 1st Shift - Days:Monday-Thursday, 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. (4x10 schedule)\n\nWhat You'll Do:\nSafely operate a company box truck to transport materials, parts, and equipment between facilities, warehouses, and production areas.\nPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tire condition, lights, and overall vehicle readiness.\nReport vehicle issues, safety concerns, accidents, or maintenance needs promptly to management.\nLoad, unload, secure, and transport materials safely to prevent damage during transit.\nVerify shipments, delivery documentation, quantities, and material identification for accuracy.\nReceive, store, stage, and deliver materials to designated warehouse and production locations.\nOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.\nAccurately identify materials, part numbers, lot numbers, and inventory locations.\nPerform material transfers and inventory transactions using warehouse and inventory management systems.\nSupport production operations by ensuring materials are delivered according to production schedules and priorities.\nCoordinate with Warehouse, Production Control, Shipping, and Receiving teams regarding material needs and delivery schedules.\nCommunicate delivery status, delays, shortages, damaged materials, or other concerns to supervisors.\nAssist with receiving, shipping, packaging, kitting, and general warehouse operations as needed.\nPerform cycle counts and support inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy.\nMaintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure assigned equipment remains in safe operating condition.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nFollow all company policies, quality requirements, DOT regulations (as applicable), and safety procedures.\nHigh School Diploma or GED required.\nMinimum of one (1) year of experience operating box trucks, delivery vehicles, warehouse equipment, or material handling equipment preferred.\nValid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.\nForklift certification required or ability to obtain certification.\nExperience loading, unloading, securing, and transporting materials safely.\nAbility to perform vehicle inspections and monitor basic fluid levels and vehicle condition.\nBasic understanding of commercial vehicle operations; familiarity with vehicle maintenance concepts is a plus.\nExperience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment.\nBasic computer skills and experience with inventory, warehouse, ERP, or scanning systems preferred.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to delivery and inventory accuracy.\nAbility to follow written and verbal instructions.\nStrong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.\nAbility to safely lift and move materials as required.\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nMust be authorized to work in the United States.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrevious experience as a box truck driver, delivery driver, material handler, warehouse associate, or logistics team member.\nExperience in manufacturing, aerospace, warehouse, shipping and receiving, or logistics environments.\nExperience using ERP, WMS, MRP, or inventory control systems.\nKnowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and material flow best practices.\nExperience supporting production or manufacturing operations.\nDOT compliance and safe driving experience preferred.\nPhysical Requirements & Work Environment:\nAbility to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with frequent standing, walking, and movement throughout the shift.\nAbility to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time.\nAbility to use hands and fingers to perform repetitive tasks, data entry, and computer work.\nAbility to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, climb, reach, and balance as required to perform job duties.\nAbility to lift, push, pull, and/or carry items weighing up to 35 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nAbility to work in, on, around, and in proximity to machinery, equipment, material handling devices, and production tooling.\nAbility to work near moving mechanical parts and equipment.\nAbility to visually inspect materials, inventory labels, documentation, and production information.\nAbility to communicate effectively, including talking and hearing.\nAbility to work in environments that may include exposure to noise, dust, fumes, airborne particles, and varying temperatures.\nAbility to follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).\nIf you are open to relocating to Midland, this can be a career changing, and life changing, move into the high-tech aerospace world offering a new skill set and job security in a very similar environment that will soon feel like home.
