Design, install, and configure sensor instrumentation systems for data measurement and monitoring.\nContribute to executing tasks and meeting deliverables under research grants and industry projects.\nCollaborate with industry partners, affiliated research institutes and other relevant stakeholders to contribute to grant proposals for research funding consistent with the strategic goals of TCOMS.\nPerform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.\nJob Requirements\nQualification & Field of Study:\nBachelor or Master in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field\nWork Experience:\nExperience in vessel dynamics, hydrodynamic modelling, or autonomous control systems\nProficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or C++ for modelling and simulation.\nFundamental understanding of machine learning concepts and applications.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary research and development environment.\nOther Requirements:\nGood interpersonal and communications skills.\nAbility to adapt and work effectively as members of a team.\nGood communications skills in both written and spoken to handle diverse stakeholders.\nResourceful and self-driven with a high degree of professional
