The work is performed in an agile environment where quality, reliability and requirement-based development are central.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and develop embedded software for safety-critical systems\n\nImplement low-level software in C for embedded platforms and microcontrollers\n\nCollaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with hardware components\n\nParticipate in requirement analysis and ensure traceability in accordance with safety standards\n\nPerform debugging, testing and verification of embedded software solutions\n\nContribute to requirement-based development processes and software quality improvements\n\nWork in an agile environment including sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives\n\nSupport the development of reliable, secure and high-performance embedded software systems\n\nQualifications\nStrong experience in low-level C programming for embedded systems\n\nExperience working with microcontrollers, embedded platforms and RTOS\n\nExperience with embedded software debugging and testing\n\nFamiliarity with version control systems, preferably Git\n\nExperience working in Agile or Scrum environments\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\n\nGood communication and teamwork abilities\n\nRelevant degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar field\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working with safety-critical software development (e.g. aerospace, defence, automotive)\n\nFamiliarity with DO-178 standards and requirement-based development processes\n\nExperience with embedded Linux or other embedded operating systems\n\nKnowledge of hardware description languages such as VHDL or Verilog\n\nExperience with model-based development tools such as MATLAB/Simulink\n\nAdditional Information\nLocation: Huskvarna\nEU citizenship is required.\nSecurity clearance may be required depending on the assignment.\nCandidates do not need Swedish citizenship, but it is preferred that applicants have been living in Sweden for some time.\nAbout Astek Sweden\nAstek is built on curiosity, technical passion and a commitment to innovation.
