Hybrid work from certain locations may be permitted in accordance with Astellas’ Responsible Flexibility Guidelines.\nPurpose and Scope\nAstellas is seeking an experienced Incident Analyst to support effectiveincident management across the organization. The role will be responsible for applying established incident and problem management processes, while developing effective reporting to identify service trends and potential risks. By proactively identifying emerging issues, the Incident Agent will recommend appropriate interventions to help prevent problems from impacting service levels and business operations.\nRole and Responsibilities\nMonitor and respond to IT incidents reported by users, systems, or automated monitoring tools.\nCoordinate incident resolution teams, assigning roles and actions based on the severity and urgency of each incident.\nOwn and drive incidents through to resolution, leading technical and functional teams and ensuring effective collaboration and communication.\nFollow established incident management processes and best practices, ensuring compliance with relevant IT policies and standards.\nEscalate major incidents to senior management and key stakeholders, providing clear and regular updates throughout the resolution process.\nTrack and communicate incident progress, highlighting any risks, issues, or delays that could impact service restoration.\n Ensure incidents are resolved in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and quality standards, and confirm satisfaction with the resolution.\nDocument incidents and resolutions, maintaining accurate records and identifying recurring trends, risks, and patterns.\nConduct post-incident reviews and lessons-learned sessions, identifying and implementing improvement actions to help prevent recurrence.\nEvaluate and continuously improve incident management processes and tools, providing recommendations and feedback where appropriate.\nProvide training and guidance to incident management teams and other IT colleagues on incident management practices and protocols.\nCollaborate across IT teams and functions to ensure alignment and integration of IT services and processes.\nEssential Qualifications\nStrong cybersecurity incident response experience\nExperience investigating security incidents in a corporate environment\nExperience managing escalations and coordinating multiple stakeholders during incidents.\nAbility to conduct or lead forensic investigations.\nExperience owning incidents end-to-end.\nEnough expertise to coach and train others.\nTechnical Knowledge:\nMicrosoft Security technologies.\nCrowdStrike security solutions.\nSecurity Operations / Incident Response tooling.\nSoft Skills:\nStrong communication skills\nAbility to collaborate across different teams and regions\nConfidence working with peers globally\nAbility to explain technical incidents to different audiences\nStructured thinking during high-pressure situations\nStrong stakeholder management skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nCISSP\nCISM\nSANS certifications, particularly GFIH (GIAC Certified Forensic/Incident Handler) or similar incident response certifications\nWhy Astellas\nGlobal collaboration: Become part of a connected global business of like-minded life science leaders, all dedicated to improving patients' lives worldwide. \nReal-world patient impact: Contribute to transformative therapies that reach patients around the world, knowing your work makes a difference every day.\nRelentless Innovation: Join a company at the forefront of scientific breakthroughs, where you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of healthcare.\nA Culture of Growth: Chart your own course within a supportive environment that values your contributions, champions your development, and empowers you to pursue your passions.\nOur Organizational Values and Behaviors\nValues:Integrity, Innovation and Impactsit at the heart of what we do.\nBehaviors: We come together as ‘One Astellas’, working with courage and a sense of urgency.
