Our products help the world's leading technology companies build scalable, high-performance computing and AI systems. \nWe are looking for a technical, high-energy Senior Principal Program Manager, Business Acceleration to help drive execution across some of Astera Labs' most strategically important customer and business initiatives. \nThis is a highly visible role that works directly with senior leadership and partners across Sales, Product, Engineering, Field Applications, Supply Chain, and other functions to identify execution gaps, drive accountability, and accelerate business outcomes. \nThe Opportunity \nThe ideal candidate is more than a traditional program manager. You are technically credible, highly organized, comfortable operating with senior executives, and willing to relentlessly drive teams toward resolution. \nYou will bring structure to complex, cross-functional initiatives across strategic sales opportunities and product development operations involving semiconductor connectivity programs. You will identify blockers, establish clear ownership, track progress, escalate issues, and ensure that critical actions are completed. \nSuccess in this role requires someone who can walk into a room with engineers, product leaders, sales executives, and senior management and quickly understand what roadblocks are in the company's strategic sales opportunities, ask the right questions, and drive the organization toward action and execution so that those opportunities convert into revenue.\nKey Responsibilities \nStrategic Business Program Management \nLead recurring executive reviews of strategically important sales and business initiatives. \nPartner with Sales, Product, Engineering, FAE, and other teams to identify blockers, dependencies, and execution risks. \nEstablish clear action owners, timelines, and follow-through mechanisms. \nTrack open issues to resolution and proactively escalate stalled or high-impact items. \nDevelop concise executive-level reporting that clearly communicates progress, risks, blockers, and required leadership actions. \nHold cross-functional stakeholders accountable for commitments and drive timely resolution of critical issues. \nCustomer & Market Program Intelligence \nDevelop and maintain a view of major AI infrastructure buildout programs across key customers and market segments. \nWork with Sales, Product Marketing, Product Management, and other teams to understand customer programs, product adoption, competitive dynamics, and whitespace opportunities. \nBuild customer and market heatmaps that identify where Astera Labs products are deployed today and where future opportunities may exist. \nLead recurring executive readouts on customer program developments and business opportunities. \nBusiness Acceleration & Strategic Planning \nOwn programs designed to accelerate growth and close execution gaps against company objectives. \nDevelop frameworks that connect customer opportunities, product initiatives, and execution priorities to broader business goals. \nPartner closely with senior leadership to track progress against strategic objectives. \nIdentify systemic execution issues and help establish mechanisms to improve organizational responsiveness and accountability.\nSemiconductor & Supply Chain Program Management \nDevelop an understanding of semiconductor product development and manufacturing processes, including silicon development, validation, tape-out, foundry, packaging, and production. \nOver time, support monitoring of critical semiconductor supply-chain risks and dependencies across foundry, OSAT, substrate, and other key suppliers. \nEstablish reporting mechanisms to identify emerging supply constraints and risks. \nWhat You Bring \nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred. \nSignificant experience in program management, product operations, business acceleration, product management, or a related cross-functional role within the semiconductor, hardware, connectivity, computing, or AI infrastructure industry. \nStrong understanding of semiconductor and hardware product development processes. \nAbility to understand complex technical issues and communicate them clearly to both technical and executive audiences. \nExceptional PowerPoint skills, with the ability to build clear, executive-ready slide narratives quickly, and demonstrated fluency with AI tools to accelerate analysis, reporting, and communication. \nExperience working across Engineering, Product, Sales, FAE, Operations, and/or Supply Chain organizations. \nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously and maintain rigorous follow-through. \nStrong analytical, organizational, and executive communication skills. \nExperience working with semiconductor, connectivity, networking, compute, storage, or AI infrastructure products is highly desirable. \nLeadership Characteristics \nWe are looking for someone who: \nDrives accountability rather than simply tracking status. \nIs comfortable challenging senior stakeholders and escalating when commitments are not being met. \nHas exceptional executive presence and communication skills. \nCan operate effectively with incomplete information and rapidly changing priorities. \nIs highly persistent and willing to chase down the information needed to move an initiative forward. \nCombines technical depth with strong business judgment. \nThinks like an operator and takes ownership of outcomes. \nHas the potential to grow into broader business or general management leadership. \nWhy This Role Matters \nThis is a highly visible opportunity to work directly with Astera Labs leadership on initiatives that span customers, products, engineering, and the broader business. \nYou will have the opportunity to build the operating mechanisms that help Astera Labs execute against its next phase of growth while working at the center of the AI infrastructure ecosystem. \nThis role is designed for a high-impact operator who wants to grow beyond traditional program management and take on increasingly broad business leadership responsibilities.\nSalary range is $205,000 to $ 260,000 depending on experience, level, and business need.
