In this role, you will conduct audits using established Internal Audit methodology and help evaluate key controls, regulatory compliance, and governance practices across the company. You will contribute throughout the audit lifecycle-from planning and research through fieldwork, reporting, and issue validation-while maintaining high standards of quality, integrity, and confidentiality.\nWhat You’ll Do\nParticipate in the planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases of audits.\nAttend process walkthroughs with business partners and prepare clear, timely documentation.\nTest internal controls designed to mitigate identified risks.\nSupport audit execution, issue validation, and the escalation of findings to audit management.\nMonitor and communicate progress against audit deliverables.\nPrepare high-quality workpapers and communicate effectively in meetings and written documentation.\nUse systems and tools to obtain relevant, timely information for audit deliverables.\nHelp improve and automate audit processes and systems by leveraging advances in technology.\nMaintain Internal Audit workspaces, including Teams channels, SharePoint sites, and the governance, risk, and compliance platform.\nProvide updates for Audit Committee materials as requested.\nSupport companywide initiatives and team activities that advance organizational objectives.\nContribute to a collaborative culture focused on learning, quality, and excellence.\nWhat You Bring\nExperience supporting audits, risk assessments, internal controls testing, compliance reviews, or related work.\nAbility to research, analyze, and evaluate business processes, risks, and controls.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and documentation quality.\nSound judgment, professional integrity, and the ability to handle confidential information.\nAbility to manage multiple deliverables, meet deadlines, and raise concerns appropriately.\nA collaborative mindset and an interest in learning the company’s business and the insurance industry.\nPreferred Capabilities\nFamiliarity with audit collaboration platforms, SharePoint, Teams, or governance, risk, and compliance tools.\nProficiency in data analytics and experience using artificial intelligence tools to improve efficiency or generate insights.\nInterest in continuous improvement, process automation, and emerging audit technologies.\nWhy This Role\nThis is an opportunity to build broad business knowledge, strengthen audit and risk expertise, and contribute to effective governance.
