This role serves as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, promoting a fair, consistent, and engaging work environment.\nServe as the first point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to employees and leaders.\nInvestigate and resolve employee complaints, conflicts, and workplace concerns in a fair and timely manner.\nAdvise managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation.\nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws to ensure compliance.\nAssist in developing and implementing employee relations programs, policies, and training.\nPartner with HR colleagues to analyze trends and recommend solutions that support engagement and retention.\nMaintain accurate and confidential employee relations case documentation.\nSupport workplace culture initiatives to foster inclusion, trust, and accountability.\nCollaborate with legal and compliance teams as needed on sensitive or complex cases.\nOther duties as assigned.\nWhat You Bring to the Table:\n3+ years of HR or employee relations experience required, preferably in a mid- to large-sized organization.\nStrong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.\nExcellent communication, mediation, and conflict resolution skills.\nAbility to handle confidential information with discretion.\nStrong organizational and documentation skills.\nDemonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with employees at all levels.\nSound judgment and decision-making.\nConflict resolution and problem-solving.\nRelationship building and collaboration.\nCultural awareness and inclusivity.\nCommunication and influence.\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar) preferred.\nWe're Proud to Offer a Comprehensive Benefits Package Including:\n401k retirement plan, with employer match\n\nInsurance options including: medical, dental, vision, life and STD insurance\n\nPaid Time Off/Vacation: Starting at 80 hours per year, and increases based on tenure with the organization\n\nFloating Holiday: 40 hours per year\n\nPaid Holidays: 7 days per year\n\nPaid Sick Leave: Astound allows a number of paid sick hours per calendar year and varies based on state and/or local laws\n\nTuition reimbursement program\n\nEmployee discount program\n\n*Benefits listed above are for regular full-time position\nBase Salary: The base salary range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 annually. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job.
