Astranis designs, builds, and operates its satellites out of its 153,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Northern California, USA.\nBusiness Development Associate \nAs a Commercial Associate, you will play a key role in driving Astranis' global growth strategy. Sitting at the intersection of sales, marketing, finance, and solutions engineering, you’ll own business development initiatives and optimize our commercial initiatives to drive growth. This is a high-impact role with visibility across the organization, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is motivated to make an impact!\nAssociate programs at Astranis typically last for a minimum of twelve weeks.\nRole\nSupport ongoing business development efforts to grow the commercial pipeline in new and existing markets including building outreach campaigns and supporting inbound requests.\nAnalyze sales performance, pipeline metrics, and revenue forecasts to provide actionable insights that drive commercial growth and operational efficiency.\nConduct in-depth market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics within satellite internet and private network sectors.\nCollaborate with marketing and events teams to ensure consistency and quality across all external-facing materials, events, and digital assets.\nPartner with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives, including pricing analysis, customer segmentation, and go-to-market planning.\nRequirements\n1+ years of experience in the satellite communications, telecommunications, or aerospace industries.\nExperience in business development, sales or commercial operations.\nStrong business acumen with excellent storytelling, presentation, and communication skills.\nProven project management abilities with a track record of executing complex initiatives.\nAdvanced analytical skills, including Excel and visualization tools.\nAbility to work independently in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.\nDon't meet them all?
