As Deputy to the Compliance Business Partner, this position will provide independent, risk-based advice, strengthen ethical decision-making, and contribute to ensuring that local activities are conducted in compliance with applicable legislation, internal standards, and AstraZeneca’s values.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide Compliance advice to different business areas, promoting ethical and risk-based decision-making.\nSupport the management of risks related to Compliance, anti-corruption, ML/FT/PF, C/ST, data protection, and other relevant corporate risks.\nCoordinate risk assessment, due diligence, monitoring, and remediation plan follow-up activities.\nImplement and monitor Data Privacy controls, identifying risks associated with the processing of personal and sensitive data.\nSupport audits, reviews, and investigations, ensuring confidentiality, objectivity, and traceability.\nDevelop training and communications to strengthen a culture of ethics, integrity, and speak-up.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, HR, Audit, Data Privacy, IT, and other areas.\nAct as Deputy to the Compliance Business Partner and, when formally appointed, assume the corresponding responsibilities as Alternate Compliance Officer.\nRequirements & Experience\nBachelor’s degree.\nMinimum of 1 year of experience in Compliance and ML/FT/PF and C/ST risk management.\nKnowledge of corporate governance, healthcare industry regulations, and regulated environments.\nKnowledge of Colombian data protection regulations.\nExperience in risk assessment, monitoring, controls, and follow-up of action plans.\nExcellent analytical and communication skills in Spanish.\nHigh standards of ethics and confidentiality, with strong autonomy and professional judgment.\nProfessional proficiency in English is highly desirable.\nStrong digital skills (Teams, Copilot, AZChatGPT, PowerPoint, Power BI)\nPreferred Skills\nKnowledge of GDPR.\nAbility to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear and practical business recommendations.\nStrong influencing and stakeholder management skills.\nCritical thinking, solution-oriented mindset, and ability to prioritize effectively.\nAbility to perform effectively in dynamic and highly regulated environments.\nWhy AstraZeneca?\nAt AstraZeneca, we follow the science to transform patients’ lives.
