We are looking for you as a LeadFinance Business Partner R&I and V&I (m/f/d) with a direct reporting line to the Country CFO for AstraZeneca Germany.

Your responsibilities:

• Leading and managing the R&I and V&I budgeting and planning process including the RBU, MTP and Budget in collaboration with the FP&A Lead Germany.
• Act as a trusted finance advisor to BuD R&I and V&I as well as Country CFO
• Managing/Owning the monthly close for R&I and V&I business, ensuring a high quality month end close and forecast accuracy.
• Responsible for preparing in depth financial analysis of budgets, forecasts and actual results for monthly review by senior management (BuD, CFO, CP). Triangulate the data: financials, market insights and market share to understand the key business drivers.
• Lead preparation of presentations (country visit) and associated analysis for senior management
• Owns the local financial planning for R&I and V&I
• Continuous coordination and strong collaboration with cross-functional areas: Pricing & Market Access (discounts) and AIMs especially around financial planning process (RBU2 and MTP).
• Strategic overview of the Therapeutic Areas (TAs) and development of proposals for resource reallocation for brands within R&I and V&I
• Identification of growth opportunities and performance improvements, development of action-oriented proposals to achieve the goals in collaboration with the business (BuD).
• Shared responsibility for the business strategy and the performance cycle of the respective TAs in the cross-functional team
• Responsibility for sharing best practices within the German and regional/global teams
• Active participation in S&OP meetings with a focus on ensuring growth and forecast accuracy for R&I and V&I brands.
• Continuously driving efficiency of process, leveraging AI and promote a growth mindset

Your Qualifications:

• Completion of a relevant university degree
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the finance/controlling area - preferably in marketing/sales organizations and another area (e.g., regional/global role, corporate finance, or leadership responsibility as a finance manager for a mid size market)
• Desirable: Understanding of the (German) pharmaceutical market
• Leadership: Demonstrated (direct/indirect) leadership experience in the finance area for more than 5 years
• Analytical Thinking: Very good analytical thinking and numerical understanding
• Problem Solving & Solution Orientation: confident handling of complex tasks, pronounced analytical and strategic skills; critical and quick thinking; decision-making ability as well as goal orientation
• Influencing Skills: Ability to influence cross-functional decisions, motivation of employees without direct reporting line
• Communication: Very good communication and presentation skills, ability to present complex relationships simply, experience with senior management presentations
• Accountability: Ability to work independently and take responsibility as well as teamwork
• Entrepreneurship: Willingness to take risks, action-oriented behavior, high flexibility in a dynamic work environment, willingness to further develop oneself and the status quo
• Team Player: Demonstrated excellent skills in dealing with teams and social competence
• Fluent in English
• Good handling of SAP, Excel, Business Intelligence Software, and other analytical tools
• International mobility for further development is highly desired

Wir suchen Sie als Lead Finance Business Partner (m/w/d) R&I und V&I mit direkter Berichtslinie an den Country CFO von AstraZeneca Deutschland.

Ihre Verantwortungen liegen:

• Leitung und Steuerung des Budgetierungs- und Planungsprozesses für R&I und V&I, einschließlich RBU, MTP und Budget, in Zusammenarbeit mit dem FP&A-Leiter Deutschland.
• Funktion als vertrauenswürdiger Finanzberater für BuD R&I und V&I sowie für den Country CFO
• Leitung und Verantwortung für den Monatsabschluss der Geschäftsbereiche R&I und V&I, um einen qualitativ hochwertigen Monatsabschluss und die Genauigkeit der Prognosen sicherzustellen.
• Erstellung fundierter Finanzanalysen von Budgets, Prognosen und Ist-Ergebnissen für die monatliche Überprüfung durch die Geschäftsleitung (BuD, CFO, CP). Abgleich der Daten: Finanzkennzahlen, Markteinblicke und Marktanteile, um die wichtigsten Geschäftsfaktoren zu verstehen.
• Leitung der Vorbereitung von Präsentationen (Länderbesuche) und der dazugehörigen Analysen für die Geschäftsleitung
• Verantwortung für die lokale Finanzplanung für R&I und V&I
• Kontinuierliche Koordination und enge Zusammenarbeit mit funktionsübergreifenden Bereichen: Pricing & Market Access (Rabatte) und AIMs, insbesondere im Zusammenhang mit dem Finanzplanungsprozess (RBU2 und MTP).
• Strategischer Überblick über die Therapiebereiche (TAs) und Entwicklung von Vorschlägen zur Ressourcenumschichtung für Marken innerhalb von R&I und V&IIdentifizierung von Wachstumschancen und Leistungsverbesserungen sowie Entwicklung von
• umsetzungsorientierten Vorschlägen zur Erreichung der Ziele in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Geschäft (BuD).
• Mitverantwortung für die Geschäftsstrategie und den Leistungszyklus der jeweiligen TAs im funktionsübergreifenden Team
• Verantwortung für den Austausch von Best Practices innerhalb der deutschen sowie der regionalen/globalen Teams
• Aktive Teilnahme an S&OP-Meetings mit dem Fokus auf die Sicherstellung von Wachstum und Prognosegenauigkeit für R&I- und V&I-Marken.
• Kontinuierliche Steigerung der Prozesseffizienz unter Einsatz von KI und Förderung einer wachstumsorientierten Denkweise

Ihre Qualifikationen:

• Abschluss eines einschlägigen Hochschulstudiums
• Mindestens 10 Jahre einschlägige Erfahrung im Bereich Finanzen/Controlling - vorzugsweise in Marketing-/Vertriebsorganisationen und einem weiteren Bereich (z. B. regionale/globale Funktion, Unternehmensfinanzierung
• oder Führungsaufgaben als Finanzmanager für einen mittelgroßen Markt)
• Von Vorteil: Verständnis des (deutschen) Pharmamarktes
• Führung: Nachgewiesene (direkte/indirekte) Führungserfahrung im Finanzbereich von mehr als 5 Jahren
• Analytisches Denken: Sehr gutes analytisches Denkvermögen und Zahlenverständnis
• Problemlösung & Lösungsorientierung: Souveräner Umgang mit komplexen Aufgaben, ausgeprägte analytische und strategische Fähigkeiten; kritisches und schnelles Denken; Entscheidungsfähigkeit sowie Zielorientierung
