Medical Sales Representative (CVRM)

Territory: Zagreb and Central Croatia (100% Field-Based)

We are looking for a passionate and driven Medical Sales Representative to join our CVRM team in Croatia. The Role

As a Medical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating demand for AstraZeneca's CVRM portfolio within your designated territory. You will build trusted partnerships with healthcare professionals, communicate scientific and clinical value, and identify opportunities to drive sustainable business growth while always operating with the highest ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and Execute Territory Plans

  • Create and implement strategic territory action plans aligned with business objectives.

  • Identify opportunities to strengthen the positioning of assigned products at a local level.

  • Collaborate closely with your First Line Sales Manager to optimise territory performance and achieve agreed targets.

Build Strong Healthcare Professional Relationships

  • Establish and maintain long-term partnerships with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

  • Engage stakeholders in scientific discussions around approved indications, clinical evidence, treatment pathways, and patient outcomes.

  • Gather and share customer and market insights to support broader commercial, marketing, and medical initiatives.

Educate and Influence Through Science

  • Promote AstraZeneca's value proposition and product portfolio using compliant, evidence-based communication.

  • Organise educational meetings, speaker programmes, and workshops for healthcare professionals.

  • Deliver impactful scientific discussions that support appropriate patient treatment decisions.

Deliver Outstanding Business Results

  • Achieve or exceed sales and business objectives within your territory.

  • Effectively utilise available promotional channels and tools to maximise customer engagement.

  • Support the optimal use of AstraZeneca medicines in accordance with approved indications and local treatment guidelines.

Ensure Compliance and Integrity

  • Maintain the highest ethical standards in all customer interactions and business activities.

  • Adhere to AstraZeneca's Code of Ethics, compliance policies, data privacy requirements, and safety standards.

  • Complete all mandatory training and product certification requirements.

Reporting and Territory Management

  • Effectively plan customer engagements and activities using CRM systems.

  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting of activities, expenses, and business updates.

  • Ensure strong territory organisation and efficient time management.

Essential Requirements

  • Master's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, or another relevant scientific discipline as defined by local regulations.

  • Strong ability to understand, interpret, and communicate scientific and clinical information.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Strategic thinking, influencing, negotiation, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Fluent Croatian and English language skills.

  • Strong computer literacy.

  • Valid Category B driving licence.

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, field-based environment.

  • Collaborative team-player mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare ecosystem.

  • Understanding of cardiovascular, renal, metabolic, or related therapeutic areas.

  • Knowledge of the local healthcare market and customer landscape.
