You’ll work closely with operating teams, Process Leaders, Quality Assurance and other support functions to keep production on track and help resolve issues as they arise.\nYou’ll also have the opportunity to coach colleagues, contribute to continuous improvement and help create an environment where people can perform at their best.\nWhat you’ll do\nIn this role, you will:\nCoordinate short-term production and resource planning, working collaboratively with PET Circle Leaders and operating teams.\nSupport the delivery of production schedules while maintaining SHE and GMP standards.\nCarry out production readiness checks to make sure the right resources, components and documentation are in place.\nHelp maintain an inspection-ready manufacturing environment.\nUse your production knowledge to resolve operational issues, working closely with Quality Assurance and other support teams.\nComplete and approve relevant GMP and batch documentation to support batch release.\nRaise and investigate Quality Notifications and follow appropriate procedures where required.\nMonitor performance and identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency and delivery.\nUse Lean Manufacturing approaches and tools, including root cause analysis and waste walks, to support continuous improvement.\nCoach and support operating teams through on-the-job guidance and training.\nProvide clear feedback and communication to Process Leaders and colleagues.\nWork flexibly across the PET to support effective resourcing and production delivery.\nSupport specific asset care and maintenance activities, including Safe Systems of Work and relevant SAP notifications.\nEssential skills and experience\nWe’re looking for someone who has:\nPrevious experience working in pharmaceutical manufacturing.\nExperience in aseptic or clean-area production.\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.\nThe ability to make effective decisions and support teams in delivering challenging production schedules.\nGood operational knowledge of manufacturing procedures and compliance requirements.\nThe ability to work within an aseptic processing environment.\nDesirable skills and experience\nIt would be beneficial if you also have:\nExperience leading or supervising production teams.\nKnowledge of Safe Systems of Work procedures.\nFirst Aid experience.\nExperience applying Lean tools and techniques.\nKnowledge of relevant AstraZeneca IT systems.\nWhy this role?\nThis is an opportunity to play an important part in the day-to-day delivery of manufacturing operations at Macclesfield.
