In order to deliver that we need to further simplify, standardise and automate our processes.\nP2P Problem Solver Specialist will be responsible for ultimate resolution of more complex accounts payable issues. By close collaboration with different functions, the role holder will be expected to improve the P2P process experience for suppliers transacting with AZ. Constant improvement mindset, eagerness to learn, and can-do attitude are some of the key qualities we are looking for.\nKey responsibilities:\nThis role provides global support across the China, APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and US regions.\nLeading projects and interacting with global stakeholders.\nFacilitate and lead group meetings, presentations, and discussions to drive ongoing issues and projects.\n2nd line P2P issue resolution (mainly with suppliers, internal stakeholders, helpdesk and AP team) and identifying key roadblocks to eliminate them in the future \nAddress complex issues by coordinating with appropriate teams for permanent resolution, while educating users or guiding them to relevant training to close identified knowledge gaps.\nCommunicate with suppliers and guide them on how to effectively transact with AZ avoiding rejected invoices or delayed payments \nCollaborate with other teams within Buying Channel Support to prevent issues from reoccurring (Stakeholder Management & Training, Communication Manager, PO Requestors/Budget holders, Supplier Enablement etc.) \nImplement change as required to drive compliance and improve user experience \nTimely and accurate achievement of objectives\nAnalyze current processes and workflows, recommending and implementing lean methodologies in daily work to eliminate waste and enhance productivity\nQualifications:\nMinimum 3 years of Accounts Payable / P2P experience with strong process knowledge.\nMinimum 3 years of experience with P2P platforms such as Coupa, SAP, Ariba, or similar systems.\nStrong understanding of PR/PO, Goods Receipt, and 3-way match processes.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to clearly explain issues, engage stakeholders through email and Teams calls, and drive timely resolution of actions.\nExperience leading meetings, presentations, and cross-functional discussions to drive issue resolution and process improvements.\nFamiliarity with AI, automation, and digital solutions (e.g., Power Automate, intelligent workflows, chatbot solutions, OCR, or AI-driven process enhancements) is highly desirable.\nProficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.\nFluent English (spoken and written); additional languages are an asset.\nWhy AstraZeneca?\nAt AstraZeneca we’re dedicated to being a Great Place to Work.
