The intern will review scientific literature, extend an existing modeling framework, and use MATLAB to explore biological mechanisms through ordinary differential equations and parameter sensitivity analysis.\nKey Responsibilities\nReview relevant scientific literature to inform additions to the current modeling framework.\nDevelop ordinary differential equations to describe pertinent biological mechanisms.\nPerform parameter sensitivity analysis on resulting model outputs.\nRequired Qualifications\nUndergraduate student pursuing Biological Engineering, Biology, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Biochemistry or related engineering majors.\nRising sophomores, with anticipated graduation in 2029, or rising juniors, with anticipated graduation in 2028.\nApplied or proficient skills in programming and data analysis.\nMATLAB coding proficiency is preferred.\nAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.\nUS Work Authorization is required at time of application.
