Your role will involve engaging with key stakeholders, conducting research, and building networks to share best practices in the legislative, regulatory, and public policy arenas\nKey Areas of Responsibility:\nDevelop public policy strategy to influence patients’ paths\nEnsure smooth and timely alignment of strategic therapeutical areas (TAs) priorities with AstraZeneca’s local corporate affairs, market access, and business priorities\nDevelop, validate, and implement AstraZeneca’s therapeutical areas public policy projects and plan related activities\nLiaise with respective business unit(s) brand managers and other internal colleagues to explain how internal or external developments can affect their brands or areas of responsibility and develop communications programs and strategies tied to respective brand strategies\nContribute actively to the creation and implementation of strategic policy initiatives that support patients’ access, relevant for the TAs, in line with AstraZeneca priorities, alongside relevant internal cross-functional teams\nPrioritize partnerships to address healthcare challenges and inefficiencies in the areas with the highest benefits for patients\nEngage in multiple Corporate Affairs and communications projects to help AstraZeneca communicate meaningful corporate messages to internal and external partners\nEngage in Corporate Governance, helping managers and colleagues resolve more sophisticated Corporate Affairs and communication-related issues\nEngage with key internal or external groups, such as sales teams, external charities, industry associations, embassies, government lobbyists, and regulators in collaboration with Governmental affairs\nBuild and participate in internal and external networks to share information in the legislative, regulatory, or public policy arena and disseminate standard methodologies internally\nCarry out research, either individually or as part of a team, into more sophisticated areas of government legislation, regulation, managed markets, or public policy\nServe as a primary point of contact for patient advocacy groups and work cross-functionally to coordinate and lead regular communications to ensure productive and constructive partnerships\nIdentify, initiate, and oversee strategic patient advocacy programs and partnerships related to disease awareness and education, diagnosis, access to appropriate care, and policy advocacy, in collaboration with a cross-functional team\nMinimum Criteria and Competencies:\nExcellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills with attention to detail.
