We’re building a new Health-tech business - Evinova, a fully-owned subsidiary of AstraZeneca Group. \nAbout the Role\nAs a Senior Clinical Solutions Engineer, Data, you’ll be the customer-facing clinical data expert on our SaaS Delivery team and a trusted advisor on data requirements, data standards, and technical solutions for connecting with Evinova’s SaaS solutions. You’ll work across clinical trial operational, study design, cost and rate, and feasibility data, leading customer conversations about data requirements and then building and guiding the work that gets customer data into our platform, from source data through validated loads. You’ll also be a subject matter expert across the product suite, supporting post-implementation technical questions and contributing to pre-sales discussions.\nYou’ll work directly with customers’ clinical operations, data, and IT teams, and with our Product and Engineering teams, to turn customer needs into working solutions. You’ll stay close to products in development and translate their requirements into delivery approaches. Our product space is new, so this role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is energized by emerging technology, and is happy to roll up their sleeves to deliver digital health solutions at scale.\nWhile this is a remote position, the role is customer-facing by design. You will be expected to travel on-site with customers as needed - particularly customer UAT and customer governance - building the relationships and trust that underpin successful delivery.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead customer data conversations\nLead discovery with customers on data requirements, identifying the right datasets, data owners, and cross-functional stakeholders for each data type.\nAdvise customers on data standards and on how their data maps to Evinova’s out-of-the-box offerings.\nDevelop deep expertise in Evinova’s data landscape and in customer data architectures, providing technical oversight during implementation and configuration.\nPresent clearly and confidently to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior customer stakeholders.\nTechnical implementation\nGuide customers through collecting source data specifications, preparing datasets, and mapping and transforming data to Evinova standards where needed.\nSupport customer onboarding to ingest sponsor-specific data sources.\nBuild and prepare data deliverables hands-on where needed, and load them into customer environments.\nReview customer-provided data for quality and completeness, and resolve issues before load.\nValidate loaded data in customer environments and reconcile it against source.\nManage defects and issues through to resolution in partnership with Product and Engineering, and lead root-cause analysis and remediation.\nNavigate formal change control and environment promotion, coordinating approvals, dependencies, and timelines.\nChampion change initiatives using change-management best practices, aligning delivery with strategic goals, product releases, and cross-functional needs during complex transitions.\nTrack and communicate implementation progress across customers and internal partners, working independently across multiple engagements and proactively identifying and mitigating risks.\nIntegrations\nOversee end-to-end customer data integration, including gathering requirements, configuring, testing, and maintaining integrations, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.\nManage configuration as code and coordinate reviews and approvals with Platform and Security partners.\nSupport system-upgrade impact assessments and update integrations after implementation.\nEnsure data exchange meets applicable data privacy and regulatory requirements\nBe the product SME\nAnswer post-implementation technical and data questions and serve as an escalation point for data-related issues.\nSupport pre-sales with technical and data questions, such as feasibility and scoping.\nAct as a key liaison between customers, internal teams, vendors, and our Product and Engineering teams, and work with Product to shape solutions and feed customer insights back into the roadmap.\nEstablish and document best practices for data exchange, including monitoring and troubleshooting processes, and develop and optimize delivery playbooks, templates, and checklists that make use of Evinova’s automated tools.\nTrain internal teams and customers on data exchange procedures and standards.\nKeep a commercial mindset, making sure integration and delivery work creates value for customers and for Evinova.\nEssential Qualifications\nPrevious demonstrated experience in clinical operations, clinical data management, clinical trial planning, or a related technical field where data informs study decisions.\nStrong working knowledge of clinical trial data structures, terminologies, and standards, including USDM and CDISC.\nHands-on familiarity with clinical trial operational, study design, cost and rate, and feasibility data, ideally including both clinical operational data and cost or finance data.\nStrong background in the technical implementation of customer-facing data integrations across organizations, ideally for enterprise SaaS customers.\nStrong working skills with structured data formats and secure file transfer.\nComfort with configuration in version control, command-line tools, and basic cloud concepts (for example, AWS).\nExperience with work-tracking and documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence.\nDemonstrated ability to analyze data flows, identify discrepancies, and troubleshoot complex data issues.\nAbility to manage high-visibility, technical customer engagements, work independently across multiple engagements, and own problems end to end.\nExecutive presence and strong communication, with the ability to translate technical topics for non-technical audiences and collaborate across diverse teams.\nHighly organized and solution-oriented, with resilience and adaptability in a fast-moving, newly emerging product space, and a passion for improving healthcare through technology.\nBachelor’s degree in a relevant field (IT, information management, data science, computer science, life sciences) or equivalent experience\n.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting or implementing healthcare technology, digital health solutions, or data-heavy SaaS platforms.\nKnowledge of data privacy and compliance requirements and standards for clinical data.\nExperience working within formal change management in a regulated environment.\nExperience supporting pre-sales or solution scoping.\nFamiliarity with integration monitoring tools, automation, and customer delivery playbooks.\nPractical experience applying AI-driven tools or frameworks to accelerate data integration and validation (for example, reducing manual mapping).\n Why Evinova
