The role will support the continued growth and increasing complexity of the business by identifying, assessing, and monitoring traditional compliance risks, including fraud, anti-bribery and anti-corruption (ABAC), conflicts of interest and third-party risk.\nProvide compliance monitoring and risk assessment support for CapEx programs, major construction activities, strategic investments, partnerships, licensing arrangements, acquisitions, divestments, and integrations.\nProvide monitoring support for emerging geopolitical and international trade risks, including sanctions, trade restrictions, and cross-border data and information transfers.\nLead and execute compliance monitoring reviews independently across relevant functions, sites, and processes. Identify issues, control weaknesses, and emerging patterns, and recommend improvements to prevent recurrence.\nCollaborate closely with Global Compliance & Ethics, Legal, Internal Audit, Global Trade Compliance, Finance, Procurement, Data Privacy, Information Security, Quality, and other control functions.\nBuild trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across China and Asia R&D/Ops while maintaining appropriate independence and challenge.\nREQUIREMENTS\n10 years (or above) of of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience (compliance, law, accountancy or own specialist profession), with the majority of that experience in healthcare compliance-related roles, Ideally strong experience with R&D, Ops,\nIntegrity and strong ethics mindset\nSubstantial experience applying healthcare compliance principles to pharmaceutical industry practices and interpreting relevant industry codes\nAbility to work independently and good collaboration with global functions.
