Accountability begins when scope is accepted for execution and continues through planning, material readiness, site execution, validation, operational handoff, and closeout.\nThis is a program leadership role first. The successful candidate will have enough technical fluency to understand data center fabric dependencies, challenge incomplete deployment packages, and lead informed conversations with engineers. The role does not configure network equipment or replace DNE's design authority. Its impact comes from creating clarity, sequencing complex work, aligning teams without direct authority, and delivering committed outcomes at fleet scale.\nWhy This Role Exists\nDNE deployments span engineering, hardware supply, construction, logistics, site readiness, field execution, provisioning, and operations. Without a single execution owner, design changes, material constraints, and site dependencies can surface late and create avoidable schedule risk. The DNE ATC provides one accountable program lead who connects these systems and ensures that approved network capacity is delivered safely, consistently, and on time.\nPrimary Scope\nFront-end data center fabric deployments\nNew data center network builds and expansions\nTechnology modifications and lifecycle retrofits\nDNE hardware refreshes, migrations, and decommissions within the assigned portfolio\nSpecial DNE projects that require cross-functional delivery coordination\nPortfolio roadmapping, material readiness, and execution governance across multiple sites\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Portfolio Strategy and Roadmap Ownership\nBuild, own, and drive DNE's half-over-half execution roadmap across new builds, front-end fabric projects, technology modifications, retrofits, and special initiatives.\nTranslate approved Plan of Record and engineering priorities into an executable deployment portfolio with scope, milestones, sequencing, resource needs, and committed dates.\nEvaluate new demand against portfolio capacity, hardware availability, site readiness, and existing commitments.\nLead prioritization and tradeoff discussions when multiple projects compete for shared hardware, engineering support, field resources, or deployment windows.\nMaintain a single portfolio view of planned, committed, active, at-risk, and completed work.\n2. Intake and Deployment Readiness\nOwn project intake and ensure each request has a clear business objective, scope, priority, target sites, schedule, accountable engineering owner, and acceptance criteria.\nValidate that required execution artifacts are complete before commitment, including the Engineering Design Package (EDP), statement of work, Bill of Materials (BOM), Method of Procedure (MOP), deployment workflow, site-specific requirements, and dependency map.\nConfirm that space, power, cabling, facilities, logistics, and site-access requirements are identified and owned.\nEstablish readiness gates and refuse false-start execution when critical scope, design, material, site, or ownership inputs are missing.\nDocument assumptions, exceptions, unresolved decisions, and the owner responsible for closing each gap.\n3. End-to-End Deployment Delivery\nOwn program execution from accepted intake through kickoff, material delivery, field installation, provisioning, validation, operational handoff, and closeout.\nDevelop and maintain integrated schedules across DNE engineering, delivery engineering, Deployment, Design Engineering and Construction, site teams, logistics, sourcing, vendors, and operations.\nLead kickoff calls, weekly execution reviews, milestone checks, and decision forums with clear owners, due dates, and escalation paths.\nDrive stage-gate completion and ensure downstream teams receive complete, timely, and actionable handoffs.\nVerify that acceptance criteria, open defects, operational ownership, and residual risks are documented before closing a project.\n4. Hardware Supply and Material Readiness\nOwn portfolio-level visibility into DNE hardware demand, supply, allocation, and deployment need-by dates.\nPartner with logistics, sourcing, supply chain, and hardware program teams to validate BOMs, forecast demand, track purchase-order or pool allocation, and confirm material arrival at the Site Delivery Facility.\nIdentify shortages, substitutions, excess allocations, and late material before they affect committed milestones.\nLead allocation tradeoffs across projects and regions using documented priority, schedule impact, and business need.\nTrack emergency material requests and use recurring exceptions to improve BOM quality and intake readiness.\n5. Risk, Dependency, and Change Management\nMaintain a program risk and dependency register with quantified schedule impact, mitigation, owner, due date, and escalation threshold.\nIdentify cross-domain dependencies involving INE, Network AI, backbone, optical, facilities, construction, logistics, and site operations.\nOwn the programmatic change-control process for design updates, BOM changes, scope changes, priority changes, and schedule revisions.\nEnsure approved changes are propagated to schedules, material plans, deployment workflows, trackers, and downstream teams.\nEscalate strategically when a decision, resource constraint, or unresolved risk threatens scope, schedule, quality, or operational readiness.\nCoordinate SEV-related program actions and ensure permanent follow-up work is tracked to closure.\n6. Stakeholder Leadership and Executive Communication\nServe as the single point of program accountability for assigned DNE deployment portfolios.\nBuild productive partnerships across DNE design and delivery engineering, Deployment, procurement, sourcing, site teams, PM/PC partners, vendors, and operations.\nDrive decisions and accountability without direct authority, using evidence, clear tradeoffs, and documented commitments.\nProvide concise leadership updates that state where the portfolio stands, what is at risk, what has changed, and what decision or support is needed.\nPresent delivery health, capacity readiness, material risk, and execution trends in leadership and planning forums.\n7. Tooling, Data Quality, and Reporting\nMaintain accurate execution data.\nUse deployment dashboards and hardware trackers to confirm physical-model and material dependencies where applicable.\nPartner with engineering teams to understand workflow readiness and execution status.\nBuild automated status reporting, portfolio scorecards, dependency views, and exception-based reporting that reduce manual reconciliation.\nDefine data owners and resolve conflicting dates, statuses, or scope across systems before reporting program health.\n8. Operational Excellence and Team Enablement\nLead retrospectives for significant deployments, delays, and repeat failure patterns.\nConvert lessons learned into improved intake standards, readiness gates, templates, automation opportunities, and training.\nDevelop reusable playbooks for repeatable DNE deployment types.\nMentor PM/PC partners and new team members on DNE deployment processes, decision standards, and escalation practices.\nReduce duplicate meetings, manual reporting, and unclear handoffs while increasing visibility and accountability.\nRequired Skills and Qualifications\nProgram and Portfolio Leadership\n10+ years of technical program or portfolio management experience in network infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, data centers, telecommunications, or another large-scale physical infrastructure environment.\nDemonstrated ownership of complex, multi-site deployment programs from intake through operational handoff.\nExperience building roadmaps, integrated schedules, readiness gates, dependency models, risk registers, and measurable delivery commitments.\nProven ability to prioritize concurrent programs with shared hardware, engineering, and field resources.\nAbility to drive decisions, accountability, and conflict resolution across teams without direct authority.\nStrong executive communication skills, including concise written updates and confident leadership readouts.\nDNE Technical Fluency\nWorking understanding of data center network fabrics, including front-end and backend boundaries, spine/leaf concepts, Top of Rack switching, fabric layers, physical topology, and redundancy.\nUnderstanding of the deployment lifecycle: design, BOM, sourcing, staging, rack and stack, cabling, provisioning, quality assurance, acceptance, and operational handoff.\nAbility to read and question an EDP, BOM, MOP, deployment workflow, dependency map, and site-readiness package.\nAbility to discuss hardware, optics, cabling, power, space, and site dependencies with engineers without needing to perform the engineering work.\nExperience operating in environments with evolving architectures, lifecycle retrofits, migrations, and first-of-a-kind deployment constraints.\nHardware and Supply Management\nExperience with hardware demand planning, BOM management, material allocation, purchase-order or pool tracking, logistics, and supply-risk mitigation.\nAbility to connect supply status to schedule confidence and make evidence-based allocation recommendations.\nData, Tools, and Process Improvement\nExperience with project and engineering work-management tools.\nAbility to build useful program metrics, dashboards, and automated reporting from imperfect operational data.\nDemonstrated success simplifying workflows, eliminating manual toil, and improving execution through standardization or automation.\nStrong attention to data quality, source-of-truth discipline, and decision traceability.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience delivering data center network fabric at hyperscale or across a large fleet.\nFamiliarity with DNE planning and deployment tools.\nExperience with front-end fabric deployments, technology modifications, network lifecycle programs, hardware migrations, or decommissions.\nExperience partnering with construction, facilities, supply chain, logistics, field engineering, vendors, and operations.\nExperience with AI-assisted workflow optimization, automated reporting, or program analytics.\nPMP, PgMP, network, cloud, or data center certification.\nEducation and Certifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nMBA or advanced degree is a plus.\nPMP, PgMP, or equivalent program-management certification is preferred.\nNetwork, cloud, or data center certifications are helpful but not required.\nAdditional Requirements\nMust be US-based.\nAbility to travel up to 15% for site visits, workshops, and deployment support.\nFlexibility to support global deployments and stakeholders across time zones.\nSalary Range\n$132,240.00 - $208,800.00 USD (Salary)Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.\nFurther, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position.
