Working across teams in a collaborative (DevOps) formation, Engineer will be responsible for team mentorship, technology advances and direction, while also supporting project managers and various business towers as a consultant and subject matter expert for the end-point compute environment.\nScope:\nUses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways\nWorks on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors\nYour Roles and Responsibilities:\nLead and mentor other DevOps Engineers and cross functional teams\nWork with data analysts, product owners and data scientists, to better understand requirements, finding bottlenecks and resolutions\nBuild batch/real time analytical solutions leveraging transformational technologies\nProvide technical engineering working on various technologies\nDesign and implement solutions to improve existing support processes and tools\nSupport our development and management infrastructure and integrate all systems to work as one\nWrite automation code and build tools for provisioning and operating our Development infrastructure on multi OS virtualized environments\nImprove scalability, service reliability, capacity, and performance of Cloud and Hadoop Infrastructure\nPreparing root cause analysis for network and server outages\nIntroduce innovations, track and follow up on planning and execution of quality initiatives\nDocument and follow defined RMA processes and procedures for all relevant vendors\nTriage all incoming requests through the ticketing systems and apply first attempt troubleshooting steps (escalate trouble tickets when required)\nRecord, track, and document the tasks request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution.\nOther duties as required. This list is not meant to be a comprehensive inventory of all responsibilities assigned to this position\nRequired Qualifications/Skills:\nBachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 8+ years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience \nExpert level knowledge in managing Azure Cloud as a primary requirement, with GCP as a secondary requirement.\nExpert level experience on automation on Azure cloud services, AD, using IAC, Powershell and Python.\nExperience on using DevOps services on CI/CD, Microservices, deployments, Github.\nArchitect or design level experience\nDemonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions\nNetworks with key contacts outside own area of expertise\nStrong background in various coding administration and scripting languages\nDemonstrated experience with big data infrastructure\nGood communication skills and works well in a team environment and with stakeholders\nExperience in building various programs\nFamiliarity with tools for monitoring and system alerting \nManaging multiple products/release cadences with source control branching strategies \nSoftware Development experience \nExperience with open-source tools and technologies in large distributed systems\nExperience building and developing scalable, resilient, always-on data lake\nAbility to grasp new technologies quickly and multitask on multiple responsibilities\nExcellent information and data analysis skills\nPhysical Demand & Work Environment:\nMust have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing\nMust have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment\nMust be able to use a computer\nMust have the ability to communicate effectively \nSome positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers\nSalary Range\n$132,240.00 - $208,800.00 USD (Salary)Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.\nFurther, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position.
