Working across teams in a collaborative (DevOps) formation, Engineer will be responsible for team mentorship, technology advances and direction, while also supporting project managers and various business towers as a consultant and subject matter expert for the end-point compute environment.\nScope:\nUses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways\nWorks on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors\nYour Roles and Responsibilities:\nLead and mentor other DevOps Engineers and cross functional teams\nWork with data analysts, product owners and data scientists, to better understand requirements, finding bottlenecks and resolutions\nBuild batch/real time analytical solutions leveraging transformational technologies\nProvide technical engineering working on various technologies\nDesign and implement solutions to improve existing support processes and tools\nSupport our development and management infrastructure and integrate all systems to work as one\nWrite automation code and build tools for provisioning and operating our Development infrastructure on multi OS virtualized environments\nImprove scalability, service reliability, capacity, and performance of Cloud and Hadoop Infrastructure\nPreparing root cause analysis for network and server outages\nIntroduce innovations, track and follow up on planning and execution of quality initiatives\nDocument and follow defined RMA processes and procedures for all relevant vendors\nTriage all incoming requests through the ticketing systems and apply first attempt troubleshooting steps (escalate trouble tickets when required)\nRecord, track, and document the tasks request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution.\nOther duties as required. This list is not meant to be a comprehensive inventory of all responsibilities assigned to this position\nRequired Qualifications/Skills:\nBachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 8+ years’ related experience and/or training;
