This position requires the ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.\nScope:\nApplies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues\n\nWorks on problems of moderate scope\n\nReceives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new projects\n\nYour Roles and Responsibilities:\nAssist with global production content delivery network deployments\n\nParticipate in production and corporate network and internet peering strategies\n\nExperience with server hardware technologies relative to content delivery performance and capacity\n\nDay-to-day activities involve working on multiple vendor servers and various software and hardware issues\n\nHandle traffic and any other queries raised by ISP/partners\n\nSupport team in handling switches for any incidents such as input errors, CRC, RMA etc.\n\nWork with ISP/vendors on fixing any issues related to network\n\nParticipate in 24/7 support with other teams across the globe. Some weekend work may be required.\n\nOther duties as required. This list is not meant to be a comprehensive inventory of all responsibilities assigned to this position.\n\nRequired Qualifications/Skills:\nBachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 2 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience\n\nBuilds productive internal and external working relationships\n\nExercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action\n\nUnderstanding of fiber-optic technology including cable types, connector types, optic types, patch panels, and optical transport technologies\n\nUnderstanding of preparing root cause analysis for any network and server outages Programming and scripting capabilities\n\nStrong communication skills, including the ability to work with service providers, colocation facilities, and ISPs around the world\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience working in a multi-vendor network environment.\n\nNetwork certifications, including server level certifications\n\nPhysical Demand & Work Environment:\nMust have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing\n\nMust have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment\n\nMust be able to use a computer\n\nMust have the ability to communicate effectively\n\nSome positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers\n\nSalary Range\n$72,960.00 - $115,200.00 USD (Salary)Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.\nFurther, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position.
