Hardware Inventory Lifecycle & Asset Management*\n- *Asset Ingestion & Tracking:* Intake all incoming prototype, dogfood,\nand production hardware into inventory tracking tools (SAP Prod / Agile /\ngPLM). Record serial numbers, MAC addresses, asset tags, and assign\nappropriate Project Codes (e.g., brand new MP, dogfood, development,\ntrusted tester).\n- *Inventory Trackers & Spreadsheets:* Maintain and update primary\nhardware inventory trackers (NYC Hardware tracker, GPN Index, Rooms QA\ninventory) to ensure real-time accuracy of device locations, statuses, and\nassignees.\n- *Audits & Reconciliation:* Perform bi-weekly physical inventory\ncounts/audits across storage rooms, lab benches, and desk areas. Reconcile\ndiscrepancies between physical counts and system records.\n- *Disposal & E-Cycling (Dispo):* Coordinate quarterly hardware purges,\nroutine lab cleanup, and e-recycling workflows via GUTS and secure disposal\npartners (SLS/SIMS). Properly categorize, de-register, update status to\n\"Retired\" in SAP Prod, and stage hardware in designated disposal bins.\n- *Check-in / Check-out Support:* Manage asset returns and reassignments\nfor cross-functional team members (SWE, QA, PM, UX).\n*2. NYC Lab Setup, Device Provisioning & Lab Maintenance*\n- *Unboxing & Mechanical Assembly:* Unbox, assemble, mount, and cable\nnew Meet Hardware kits, compute boxes, touch controllers, cameras,\nmicrophones, soundbars, and peripheral accessories.\n- *Room & Bench Setup:* Deploy and configure Meet Hardware test setups\n(Small, Medium, Large room configurations) across lab benches and test\nrooms in the NYC facility.\n- *Device Provisioning & Network Connectivity:* Ensure devices are\nproperly powered, enrolled into appropriate test domains/Armada fleet,\nconnected to the CE/test corporate network, and updated to designated\nChromeOS / Meet software builds.\n- *Day-to-Day Lab Readiness:* Maintain the NYC lab in an \"always-ready\"\nstate:\n- Verify all test stations, displays, peripherals, and compute units are\npowered on, connected, healthy, and ready for immediate engineering and QA\nuse.\n- Continuously organize lab benches, power rails, cabling, and staging\nshelves.\n- Triage basic device power, cable, or network connectivity issues\nbefore escalating to engineering.\n*3. Procurement & Budget Operations*\n- *Purchase Order (PO) Creation:* Initiate and manage POs for hardware\npurchases, OEM test units (Logitech, Poly, etc.), lab equipment, and\nthird-party vendor services through Google procurement tools (Buying Hub /\nNavigo).\n- *Risk Assessments & Compliance:* Execute risk assessments in Navigo\nand ensure proper compliance categorization prior to PO submission.\n- *Budget & Contract Tracking:* Track PO approvals, burn rates, and\nactive vendor contracts against Cost Center 716 utilizing the internal\ncontract and PO tracker.\n- *Invoice & Supplier Operations:* Coordinate with external suppliers\n(e.g., Gecko, NTT Data, Maverick Labels) and Google vendor onboarding\nsystems (Spend/Ariba) to verify invoice accuracy, assist with receipt of\ngoods, and route approvals.\n*Required Qualifications & Experience*\n- *Experience:* 2+ years of experience in hardware lab management, IT\nasset management, logistics coordination, or IT operations.\n- *Hands-on Hardware Skills:* Comfortable unboxing, assembling,\nmounting, and cabling conference room hardware, displays, and peripheral\nelectronics.\n- *Systems Proficiency:*\n- Prior hands-on experience using enterprise ERP/inventory tracking\nsystems (e.g., SAP, Agile/gPLM).\n- Familiarity with enterprise purchasing/procurement systems (e.g.,\nAriba, Buying Hub, Navigo, Coupa).\n- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Docs, Drive).\n- *Organizational Skills:* High attention to detail with physical\ninventory tracking, serial numbers, and barcode auditing.\n- *Communication & Collaboration:* Excellent communication skills to\ninterface with SWEs, QA, Program Managers, facilities teams, and external\nhardware vendors.\n- *Physical Requirements:* Ability to lift and move equipment up to\n35-50 lbs (displays, packaged hardware kits, dispo bins).\n*Preferred Qualifications*\n- Familiarity with ChromeOS, Google Meet Hardware peripherals, or video\nconferencing systems (Logitech, Poly, Neat, Lenovo, etc.).\n- Experience working inside tech hardware testing labs, AV testing\nenvironments, or electronics engineering labs.\n- Prior experience managing vendor quotes, statements of work (SOWs),\nand cost center budget trackers.\nSalary Range\n$66,120.00 - $104,400.00 USD (Salary)Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.\nFurther, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position.
