Prior experience with datacenter, enterprise, servers, storage, and networking equipment is preferred. The role develops detailed project plans and manages all implementation processes including asset management, resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, documentation, training and on-time delivery. Projects may vary in number, size and complexity.\nRoles and Responsibilities:\nBOM review and validation \nUpdate and maintain lab inventory databases\nResponsible for asset and material management across data centers and warehouses\nMaintain various ticketing systems with current project status\nManages multiple, cross-functional and technical network deployment projects\nPartner with functional teams during initiation, plan, design, procurement, deployment, and post deployment phases\nResponsible for managing/tracking program milestones, timeline, and overall deliverables\nEngage in creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation including schedules, reviews, process documents, risk analysis, etc. \nParticipate in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility \nParticipate in driving project lifecycle milestones from concept commit through project closure and advocate change management\nUse metrics and KPIs to measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, and provide regular status updates \nParticipate in internal process improvements; remove gaps across multiple teams and functions\nIdentify and track risks, execute risk analysis and risk management techniques, and provide risk mitigation strategies\nBe a point of contact for vendor partners and internal stakeholders\nCoordinate and drive regularly scheduled meetings with core teams\nTake an active role in evaluation of post project results against metrics; recommend or implement changes to improve delivery practices/processes\nOther duties as required. This list is not meant to be a comprehensive inventory of all responsibilities assigned to this position\nRequired Qualifications/Skills:\nBachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 2 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience \nSolid understanding of layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts\nHands-on experience with configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining IP networks \nExperience working in a live network environment with the ability to monitor, manage, and troubleshoot complex networks\nUnderstanding of fiber optics and optical networking and related components \nFamiliarity with key optical technologies\n2 to 5 years of project management experience in a high-pressure, and fast-paced environment, preferably supporting data centers or network hardware\n2+ years of experience with data center lifecycles and/or large-scale networks\nBuilds productive internal and external working relationships\nExercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action\nExcellent communication skills (verbal, written, documentation)\nAbility to work on multiple projects and assignments concurrently\nSelf-starter who is able to quickly learn new tools and gain familiarity with new processes and technologies with minimal assistance\nExperience creating spreadsheets and project/process documentation\nStrong observational and analytical skills, including: ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information, strong attention to detail and accuracy, ability to track and report metrics, and manage risks\nAbility to collaborate with stakeholders and communicate project updates to client executives\nWillingness to work across multiple North American time zones (remotely or from the local client office)\nPreferred Qualifications:\nVarious certifications (PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PPM, CPD, CPMP, etc.)\nUnderstanding of the OSI model\nSalary Range\n$66,120.00 - $104,400.00 USD (Salary)Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.\nFurther, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position.
