The role uses industry standard methodology to detect and document any discrepancies with existing standards. Critical facilities will include Data Centers, Radio Sites, Telecommunications Facilities, and Common Facilities.\nScope:\nQuality Inspection & Acceptance\nPerform field inspections and quality audits of infrastructure installations.\nVerify compliance with approved designs, construction packages, standards, and specifications.\nReview contractor workmanship and installation quality.\nSupport site acceptance, commissioning, and project closeout activities.\nEnsure accurate documentation, testing records, and as-built drawings.\nCommissioning & Operational Readiness\nWitness and validate commissioning, alarm testing, failover testing, and operational readiness activities.\nVerify proper installation and performance of:AC/DC power systems\nUPS and battery systems\nGenerators\nHVAC systems\nRadio and telecommunications infrastructure\nNetwork equipment\nMonitoring and alarm systems\n\nEnsure deficiencies are resolved prior to turnover.\nDeficiency Management\nDocument, track, and verify closure of quality findings.\nPerform root cause analysis and corrective action reviews.\nEscalate significant safety, quality, or compliance concerns.\nExercise stop-work authority when necessary.\nTraining & Continuous Improvement\nIdentify recurring installation, workmanship, and standards compliance issues.\nAnalyze inspection results to identify technician and contractor training gaps.\nRecommend training, process improvements, and best practices.\nProvide coaching and mentoring to improve field execution quality.\nSupport development of inspection standards, commissioning procedures, and quality programs.\nUses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways\nWorks on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors\nOther duties as required. This list is not meant to be a comprehensive inventory of all responsibilities assigned to this position\nRequired Qualifications/Skills:\nBachelor’s degree (B.S/B.A) from four-college or university and 8+ years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience \nPrior Utilities experience\nExperience supporting critical facilities, data centers, telecommunications, radio infrastructure, construction inspection, commissioning, or electrical systems.\nExperience performing quality inspections, commissioning, or acceptance testing of infrastructure projects and contractor-delivered work.\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings, construction packages, and technical specifications.\nProven ability to identify quality issues, drive corrective actions, and improve field execution through coaching, training, and continuous improvement.s or data\nKnowledgeable of reading technical drawings \nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to deliver high-quality work in an efficient manner\nAbility to resolve complex situations\nUnderstanding of architecture/engineering or construction offices, or in facilities management\nFamiliarity with construction documents and processes, preferably in high-tech and MEP-complex projects such as data centers, hospitals, laboratories, infrastructure facilities\nPhysical Demand & Work Environment:\nMust have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing\nMust have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment\nMust be able to use a computer\nMust have the ability to communicate effectively \nMust be able to travel to field locations\nSome positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers\nSalary Range\n$66,120.00 - $104,400.00 USD (Salary)Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.\nFurther, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position.
